NFL rookies react to seeing themselves in Madden game

It’s safe to say Takkarist McKinley was amped up during the NFL Draft’s opening night. Because after he stole the show with his profanity-laced interview response that was intended to be a tribute to his deceased grandmother, the new Atlanta Falcons defensive end issued loud approval after seeing his “Madden 18” likeness.

EA Sports showed the first-round picks that were in attendance what they will look like in their new teams’ uniforms. With the “NCAA Football” franchise having been discontinued four years ago, the bulk of these picks didn’t have the ability to see themselves as official video-game cogs (compared to say, Matt Ryan being Boston College QB №12 years back).

EA showed several players reacting in this montage, but no one comes close to hitting McKinley’s excitement level.
