FansUnite bulks up its technical team by partnering with Deep Learning firm SaberCruncher, with an option to acquire the company.

FansUnite, the leading social blockchain-enabled sportsbook, today announced that they are partnering with SaberCruncher, a Deep Learning based syndicate specializing in computing efficient In-Play MLB odds. FansUnite, and its related entities, retains an option to acquire SaberCruncher.

The partnership with SaberCruncher, based in Vancouver B.C, further increases FansUnite’s data science capacity and ability to produce Pre-Game and In-Play market prices for FansUnite customers. “The combination of SaberCruncher.com’s IP and personnel will increase the number of market places for our customers and be a huge competitive advantage in terms of risk management” said Darius Eghdami, CEO of FansUnite. “The acquisition is expected to boost our ability to price early markets, using state of the art technology commonly used in modern sports betting syndicates” added Duncan McIntyre, COO of FansUnite.

FansUnite will initially leverage SaberCruncher’s existing Deep Learning software to offer a full suite of MLB marketplaces in 2018, starting with pre-game and expanding to in-play and exotics. FansUnite will be expanding this approach into other major sports betting markets. “FansUnite is in the process of integrating SaberCruncherer’s IP and principal employees into operations. The team is confident that this partnership will allow FansUnite to expand its marketplace offerings and unique data driven products aimed at educating bettors.” stated Darius Eghdami, CEO of FansUnite.
