California Adventure’s Tower of Terror Closing

The Tower of Terror has been around since May 5, 2004 and will be closing for good on January 2, 2017. The Tower of Terror has been California Adventures most visited ride ever since it opened.
In the article by Kelly Taylor http://www.foxla.com/news/local-news/198121821-story , Taylor talks about how one of the most beloved rides in California Adventure will be changed for good and how January 2, 2017 is our very last chance to ride it.
Taylor also states in her article that in place of The Tower Of Terror a new attraction based off of the Guardians of the Galaxy will be there. Also, Taylor tells us in the meantime the fans and tourist of The Tower of Terror will get to enjoy “Late Check-Out”. This is where the riders get to experience the ride in complete darkness with no story line. “Late Check-Out” will only be around September 9- October 31, 2016.
Taylor did a great job on keeping the people informed about what is going on about the beloved attraction, however I wish she gave us readers more detail about what to expect in the new ride.

Walt Disney Co. bought Marvel Entertainment Inc. for 4 million dollars in 2009. Until 2017, Disney hasn’t put anything Marvel into the Anaheim Disney park. The park thought it was about time to add some Marvel into the theme park.
Also, Martin explains how much social media is blowing up with negativity about the new Guardians of the Galaxy theme. There were even multiple petitions to save The Tower of Terror on change.org. Nobody except for the Disneyland owners and Marvel fans are excited for this change.
Hugo Martin does a very good job on giving the readers more insight about the new ride, The Guardians of the Galaxy. Also, Hugo states how many people are against this new change the Disney’s California Adventure.

In this article they also explain how much tension this new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction is causing. Disney fans are not happy with this new idea at all!
Fox gives full detail on how the new ride will be like. The new “Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: Breakout” ride will be introduced to a sci-fi themed story before the heartstopping drops. The ride will feature songs from legends such as the Jackson 5, David Bowie, and the Runaways. These were all songs that were featured in the 2014 popular movie Guardians of the Galaxy.
The new Guardians of the Galaxy Ride will be open next summer. Out of the 3 articles the most helpful was definitely Fox. Fox gave full detail about the ride and why Disney randomly chose to change Tower Of Terror forever, which will affect many people.
The Tower of Terror will forever be one of the greatest rides to be in California Adventure, it is a real tragedy for that they changed such a loved ride like Tower of Terror. Hopefully this new Guardians of the Galaxy ride will be better than our expectations and maybe everyone will love the ride. Either way on January 2, 2017 The Tower of Terror will be gone forever and Guardians of the Galaxy will replace it.
