Here’s this week’s list:

Eric Reid, S, CAR– Reid has been solid the past month, and if a nice, safe, high floor is what you’re after, then look no further. Like an average birthday party magician instead of a clown — he won’t often wow you, but he won’t make you cry either.

Joey Bosa, DE, LAC– There is speculation that Bosa will make his much anticipated return next week. In a weaker than weak year for the position, this is something to monitor closely.

Chris Jones , DE, KC– The poor man’s Chandler Jones, after not posting a sack for the first month of the season, Jones now has at least one sack in six straight games, culminating in two this week. It was Jones’ best performance of the season, as he also recorded three tackles, two pass deflections and a forced fumble on the day.

Malcolm Jenkins, S, PHI– Jenkins has been hot his past three games, putting up double digit points for most formats. After a slow start, it looks like he’s heating up just in time for the playoff push.

Bobby Wagner, LB, SEA– At this point last year, having Wagner on this list would have been absurd. But the all-pro just hasn’t been nearly as productive for fantasy purposes this season, as his role in the Seattle defense has shifted in 2018. He posted a whopping 10 solo tackles this week, however, and while that might be an exception to the norm this season, it’s still noteworthy. If Wagner starts to put up numbers like he’s in the past on a consistent basis then, well, he’s a fantasy game-changer in IDP formats.

Cameron Jordan, DE, NO– Jordan isn’t on this list because he’s done anything that spectacular of late (in fact he’s been rather unremarkable), but as my wise friend and IDP guru — the one and only @Cmob on the Fantasy Life App — pointed out to me this morning, the DL slot is a bit of a fantasy “wasteland” this year. Call it the TE slot of the IDP world, because it’s as shallow as a Kardashian in front of a mirror (I’d normally say sorry here, but they’re not reading this). The point is, Jordan’s lackluster 2018 has made him largely available this year, and if you’re current DL player is struggling — as most are — Jordan is worth a flier based on his impressive and extensive track record prior to this season.

And let me just add that following @Cmob on the Fantasy Life App is a great way to get top advice on IDP whenever you need it. Seriously, he works way harder at it than most (even me), and is always selflessly responsive to user’s advice questions. Take advantage of his services before he burns himself out!
