For the lucky few who got a bye, are competing in two-week long contests or got a round one win, congrats. Here are some noteworthy IDP options who might be on the wire in your league:

Eddie Jackson, S, Chicago — Jackson isn’t the tackle machine that some of his fellow safeties are, but man does he get interceptions. The general rule is not to rely on INTs, but Jackson is proving so adept at it that he might be the exception. It’s a tough matchup versus Green Bay next week, but then Chicago plays San Francisco Week 16. Sure would be fun to get one or two more INTs out of Jackson to help you win that championship.

Zach Cunningham, LB, Houston — Cunningham has quietly come on of late, and given his youth this may not be a fluke, but rather a young LB putting it all together — something we’ve seen a lot of this year.

Myles Jack, LB, JAC — Speaking of young LBs, after struggling for a month around the mid-season mark, Jack has really picked it up again the past couple weeks. If he’s on a hot streak and you need LB help, you might want to get on board.

Clayton Gaethers, S, IND — Gaethers isn’t an unfamiliar name in the IDP world this season, but owners never got completely sold on him. He’s put up strong tackle numbers, but absolutely nothing else in all other defensive categories, thus limiting his appeal and his ownership percentage. That being said, he gives you a solid floor, which is more than you can say for many other options out there.

Eric Kendricks, LB, SEA — He didn’t just have a good game on Monday Night Football, he’s now put up big games in three out of the past four weeks. His odds of giving you double-digit points on a weekly basis are certainly on the rise.

Good luck to you lucky few. I’m more than happy to help with any of those tense post-season calls if some advice is needed. Find me as @Luke37 on the Fantasy Life App.
