T.J. Hockenson OVER 5 Receptions
It’s early, but Hockenson has emerged early as Jared Goff’s go-to target and rightfully so. After the departures of Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr, Hockenson stands as the best option for Goff to rely on. Week 1, Goff targeted Hockenson 11 times for 8 receptions. Dan Campbell (who’s always been a TE coach) comes from an offensive background and spent the last 5 seasons in New Orleans, which is an offense that likes to target the TE. Expect Hockenson to be a focal part of the offense tonight and beyond.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling OVER 38.5 Receiving Yards
Valdes-Scantling has emerged as the secondary target/big play option for Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. Only 3 receptions for 17 yards in Week 1, but was targeted 8 times. Last season, he averaged over 20 yards per reception. Detroit’s secondary is far from a strong point, they’ll likely try and key in on Davante Adams which should open things up for Valdes-Scantling.
