Picks & Preview for Tuesday’s NHL slate

Ok, hand up, yesterday was bad. We went 0–4. That’s going to happen sometimes when you reach on some value plays. 3 of the picks were +200 or higher. Let’s get right back to it today. We have a big slate of games and my favorite team to bet on in action. Headed over to BetMGM for my picks today, they’re offering a risk-free bet up to $1,000 when you sign up & deposit with them. They also have some good offers that pop up before NFL playoff weekends to keep an eye out for those as well. If you haven’t signed up with BetMGM yet you can do that HERE. To the picks.

Florida Panthers -1.5 (+165) vs Flames & TT OV 3.5 Goals (-110)

The Panthers are ROLLING over the last week and a half and are scoring and an amazing clip. They’re 4–0 in their last 4 and averaging over 6(!!) goals per game in that stretch. They’ve covered the -1.5 in 3 of those 4 wins. They’re allowing just 2 goals per game over that four game win streak as well. If you had a +2200 Stanley Cup future on them at the beginning of the season like I advised, you’d be in a great spot and would be able to flip that on PropSwap for a huge profit (if you sign up with them use promo code Betsperts and get a 100% deposit match up to $500). The Flames are struggling a bit. They’ve lost 4 in a row and have scored just 7 goals in that stretch while allowing 20. At +165, there’s no reason not to take a shot with the Panthers here.

Stars -1.5 1st Period (+360) vs Canadiens

This one is a bit of a longshot, sure. But I wanted to find a way to fade Montreal here. The Habs are coming off a 5–2 loss at the abysmal Coyotes. Dallas is coming off back-to-back blowout losses against Cup contenders in the Panthers & Lightning. This feels like a get-right spot for them at home after a few days off. They haven’t played since the 15th, the Habs like I said played last night. Fresh legs early could mean a great start.

Canucks vs Predators UN 5.5 (+100)

The Preds have dropped 3 straight and haven’t played great defensively/in net but two of those losses have been on the road. They’ve been a much better team keeping pucks out of the net at home this season allowing almost a full goal less to opponents at Bridgestone Arena. Vancouver has been a better team under Bruce Boudreau but I still don’t buy into them totally. The Predators are too good defensively for this slump to extend too long and at even odds I’ll take a chance on one of the best defensive teams in the NHL keeping this game under.
