This Gameweek in the Premier League saw fans return to fill stadiums for the first time this season. Each team had allocated approximately 2000 lucky fans to attend the games. It was a welcome change for many and a sign of the times.
It didn’t take long to hear that all familiar sweet sound of boo’s and cheer’s. I for one found it wonderful as long as social distancing rules are kept.

This update will be a quick one. I had already revealed in the last piece my selection for this past weekend. The only big question was if the wildcard was applied at the proper time or not and with the correct players coming in/leaving.

I’m happy to report that we had an immediate impact with our changes.

The addition of Jaanik Vestergaard and James Ward-Prowse has bought in valuable points. The Southampton duo combining for a superb corner-goal. While we did miss out on Kurt Zouma (who also scored during the weekend), Vestergaard is proving his worth even with a cheaper price tag.

Jamie Vardy brings in the most amount of points as our Captain and the Vardy-Kane combination is taking full effect.
It should also be noted that 2 of our players didn’t play this past weekend so it will be curious to see how they do in this coming weekend.

This weekend will be a head-scratcher as the opponents each team faces are not clear cut.

As you can see, none of the opponents are any of the Big 6 (Manchester United, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham) yet they could definitely spring a surprise.
There are some valuable players on the bench as well so it’s going to be a difficult decision who to put on the field and who to leave out.
Watch out for my next update if you’re curious to see the results.
