Last week, FantOHM DAO welcomed Clandestina NFTs to its treasury. Through our partnership in business development with Wise Beyond Bitcoin, Clandestina Gang offered FantOHM DAO a chance to acquire as many as 7 NFTs for DAO investment / giveaway and we embraced the offer with open arms.
In this article, we would like to present our investment thesis and share why we are excited about this ambitious move, both for ourselves and for the Clandestina Gang.
What are Clandestina NFTs?
Clandestina Gang is a risk-off asset that backs the value of artistic projects, governed by a bohemian DAO community conveniently called Clandestina Digital Society, on the Secret Network. The Clandestina NFTs are a series of 420 interpretations of the beautiful titular character, each representing a share of one staking validator node on the Secret Network. Additionally, these NFTs have over 100 unique traits from 12 different categories making them rare, original, and highly valuable within the already cult-like following of sSCRT NFT communities.
Clandestina NFTs also take maximum advantage of the Secret Network’s privacy capabilities to put secret data into an NFT that only the owner can see. Each NFT includes 1 of 20 public backgrounds and 1 of 20 secret backgrounds, exclusively for the eyes of the owner.
An Important Note on Secret Network
Secret Network is the first blockchain with privacy-preserving smart contracts. As $SCRT, the network’s native token, has remained unrecognized by the larger crypto space during the most bullish months of 2021, FantOHM DAO was eager to seek involvement when offered the opportunity. Through growth initiatives like Shockwave — the next phase of Secret Network’s explosive growth, Secret Network aspires to establish itself as the data-privacy hub for Web 3.0. Strategists at FantOHM DAO see huge potential in this vision.
The secret (pun intended) behind Secret Network is that its SCRT token is completely transparent, whereas all actions involving Secret tokens or Secret contracts are completely private.

On top of all the positive impact Secret Network is making in the crypto ecosystem, On January 19, 2022, Secret Network also announced $400M in ecosystem funding — including a new $225M ecosystem fund and a $175M accelerator pool — alongside new investment from DeFiance Capital, Alameda Research, CoinFund, HashKey, and more. This reaffirms FantOHM DAO’s position concerning investments in Clandestina NFTs.

Last week in our puzzle hunt contest, FantOHM DAO gave away 1 of the 7 claimed NFTs to its community, during which time we built the hype around the wonderful opportunity present in Clandestina’s fractional node ownership structure as well as its intrinsic worth as a community of privacy and cyber security-minded crypto natives.
FantOHM DAO will now auction away 1 more Clandestina NFT from our holdings at the end of these next weeks where we cover educational material on the Secret Network. Our Goal with Clandestina NFT Investments
FantOHM DAO intends to hold up to 5 Clandestina NFTs as part of the FHM Treasury to enable mid to long-term business development as we spread FHUD across all the networks ;-). This will enable us to compound our returns by staking them to the Clandestina Gang’s node while maintaining governance rights and a voice on behalf of our investors as they are now part of Clandestina’s wonderful DAO community.
