Pricing Tiers

It’s all about value. Below you’ll find the pricing tiers based on share price and return, or the amount of fanbucks ($FBX) you’d receive upon a win:

  • Blue Chip: Share Price > $FBX 80 (Return < 1.25x)
  • Large Favorite: Share Price $FBX 60 — $FBX 80 (Return 1.7x — 1.25x)
  • Small Favorite: Share Price $FBX 50 — $FBX 60 (Return 2x — 1.7x)
  • Small Underdog: Share Price $FBX 40 — $FBX 50 (Return 2.5x — 2x)
  • Big Underdog: Share Price $FBX 25 — $FBX 40 (Return 4x — 2.5x)
  • ‘Dog of the Week’: Share Price < $FBX 25 (Return > 4x)

Example: 1 Share of CIN purchased at $FBX 30.30 would increase to $FBX 100 upon a win, a return of (100/30.30 = 3.3x)

The Fanvest Five

Each week our team of analysts will select their five favorite plays of the week and the record will be tracked in this article.

A 5–0 week was exactly what we needed for some momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. We went all favorites in W14, but they all came through for us.

After a week of heavy chalk, we’re taking a few shots with big underdogs this week.

Thursday 8:20pm: Los Angeles Chargers ($FBX 36.39) @ Las Vegas Raiders

Justin Herbert’s efficiency under pressure and on third down has lifted the Chargers offense to a new level in 2020. At an opening price around $FBX 40, LAC shapes up as a top value play of W15 thanks to Herbert’s much more consistent play than opposing QB Derek Carr.

Sunday 1:00pm: San Francisco 49ers ($FBX 57.36) @ Dallas Cowboys

With the better coach and defense, SF has two crucial edges over the struggling Cowboys. While Nick Mullens isn’t a starting-caliber QB, the rest of SF is strong enough to overwhelm DAL on both sides of the ball.

Sunday 1:00pm: Seattle Seahawks @ Washington Football Team ($FBX 32.27)

The WSH defensive front should continue to dominate against a QB who takes as many sacks as any QB in the league. Containing Russell Wilson is easier said than done, but WSH has the talent to do that and compete for an upset, making them a compelling value at an opening price around $FBX 30.

Sunday 4:05pm: Philadelphia Eagles ($FBX 28.57) @ Arizona Cardinals

ARI has struggled offensively for the first time in 2020 over the last month. On the other side of the ball, PHI has the defensive talent to continue that trend and assuming a decent offensive performance, the Eagles have a better shot at an upset than many give them credit for.

Sunday 8:20pm: Cleveland Browns ($FBX 65.09) @ New York Giants

The Browns rushing duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt should continue their success against the struggling Giants. Regardless of what version of Baker Mayfield shows up, CLE has enough talent to overcome any mistake he makes against NYG.
