Pricing Tiers

It’s all about value. Below you’ll find the pricing tiers based on share price and return, or the amount of fanbucks ($FBX) you’d receive upon a win:

  • Blue Chip: Share Price > $FBX 80 (Return < 1.25x)
  • Large Favorite: Share Price $FBX 60 — $FBX 80 (Return 1.7x — 1.25x)
  • Small Favorite: Share Price $FBX 50 — $FBX 60 (Return 2x — 1.7x)
  • Small Underdog: Share Price $FBX 40 — $FBX 50 (Return 2.5x — 2x)
  • Big Underdog: Share Price $FBX 25 — $FBX 40 (Return 4x — 2.5x)
  • ‘Dog of the Week’: Share Price < $FBX 25 (Return > 4x)

Example: 1 Share of CIN purchased at $FBX 30.30 would increase to $FBX 100 upon a win, a return of (100/30.30 = 3.3x)

The Fanvest Five

Each week our team of analysts will select their five favorite plays of the week and the record will be tracked in this article.

After a hot streak in November, we are ending the season on a bad note. We posted a 1–4 record in W16, with our only win coming from a big favorite.

W17 is always unique from a handicapping perspective, as most teams have nothing to play for. We are going heavy chalk this week, focusing on the teams that need a win to get in. These teams may not offer the best value, but there is a strong chance that they all come away with a win.

Sunday 4:25pm: Tennessee Titans ($FBX 75.05) @ Houston Texans

Fighting for playoff seeding against a team that’s lost all motivation to win, TEN is the more motivated team, and that’s likely the side most value based fanvestors will find themselves on.

Sunday 4:25pm: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts ($FBX 86.48)

Playing the tanking Jags, there isn’t much that’ll prevent IND from winning this game outside of their worst performance of the season. The price is high, but that’s because a win is nearly guaranteed.

Sunday 4:25pm: New Orleans Saints ($FBX 71.73) @ Carolina Panthers

It doesn’t matter who starts at QB, the Saints are the much better team in this one. Still fighting for playoff positioning, there is little reason NO could blow this game.

Sunday 4:25pm: Las Vegas Raiders ($FBX 55.38) @ Denver Broncos

The Raiders are largely out of the playoff hunt, but they are still a much better team than DEN. Drew Lock isn’t close to the same quality of QB as Derek Carr, making LV a top value play of W17.

Sunday 4:25pm: Green Bay Packers ($FBX 70.02) @ Chicago Bears

Aaron Rodgers against Mitch Trubisky? The opportunity to get Rodgers in this matchup for an opening price under $FBX 80 is arguably the best value of W17, as the Packers starting QB is playing at an MVP level, and it’s quite unlikely the Bears can slow him down.
