  • As an official licensee, FANZONE will publish the final DFB squad as digital trading cards complete with late call-ups such as Füllkrug, Götze and Moukoko.
  • From November 17th 2022, fans can purchase digital images of their idols, trade them, use them for challenges and, of course, collect them.

The squad for the upcoming World Cup is set. In order to digitally immortalise the DFB squad, the world’s largest national football association is cooperating with the multisport collectible platform FANZONE. The entire team around Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala including the surprise candidates Bella-Kotchap, Götze, Moukoko and Füllkrüg as well as national coach Hansi Flick are available to fans and collectors in different editions. This makes FANZONE the only licensed product that can present the current squad announced by national coach Hansi Flick on November 10.

On FANZONE.io, users can buy the digital cards, collect them and use them in various challenges at the World Cup to win cool prizes. The complete 2022 World Cup squad as well as national coach Hansi Flick and mascot Paule will be available as digital trading cards. There will be different packs with different cards as well as the 6 special cards with the world champions Karl-Heinz Riedle, Pierre Littbarski, Guido Buchwald, Andi Brehme, Per Mertesacker and Christoph Kramer. Every fan who has completed their collection of a rarity will receive reward Cards and additionally the chance to win a prize, such as signed jerseys, footballs or fanshop vouchers.

FANZONE has already been a licensed partner of the DFB since its launch in 2021. The cooperation includes the women’s and men’s national teams, the U21 and the 3. Liga. For the upcoming drop 5% of the turnover will be used to support Kesa FC, an organisation that gives the youth of the Kibera Slum a perspective and rewards them for going to school by being able to be a part of the Kesa FC and playing football on a daily basis.
