FANZONE DBB Challenge — All you need to know
The German Basketball National Team is available on FANZONE right now with their own digital collectibles. The European Championship is starting today and for every game from the German team, we offer you a challenge, where you can participate and compete against other users.
Every owner of DBB cards can select their top 5 players from the national team, regardless of their position on court. There is no restriction on how many players from one position you select. You can register your players by clicking this link. Every player will be awarded points, based on their performance in each game. Added points will be put into a leaderboard, where users can see their position.
Challenges will take place on every game from the German team. Signups open the day before each game and close at starting time of the game. There will be 5 challenges for all group games and, in case the DBB advances, challenges will be offered for all games, where the team is participating.
Every player is awarded points for his performance on court. Blocks, throws, 3-pointers, nearly everything is monitored and will be taken into account. Steals and blocks are the highest awarded actions and will be rewarded with 4 points per move. On the contrary: A turnover will result in a 2-point deduction for the player. Missed throws will also result in a deduction.
After the game all actions will be added and multiplied by the Card Score of the selected card of the player. All scores from the selected players will be added and will give you your total score that also shows in the leaderboard.
The leaderboard shows all performances from the past games. All performances are added and the higher your overall score is, the higher you will be placed on the leaderboard. The group stage and the knockout stage will use the same leaderboard, so we have a full overview of the whole tournament.
As price for every challenge, we will give away multiple DBB and FC Bayern Basketball packs and FANZONE Credits. As rewards for the ranking high in the leaderboard, we’ll have signed jerseys, tickets or cryptocurrencies to give away. It is definitely worth it. Among all participants, we will give away 2x2 tickets to DBB game, a signed game ball and a signed away jersey.
