Another year at Las Vegas with Faraday. But this time, it was different: we traveled further, enlarged and improved our booth at Black Hat, and presented what the new platform will be.

We traveled further, because now there’s more of us. The team, both technical and commercial, is getting bigger. For the last couple months we’ve been dedicated to improve the team by incorporating experts, defining roles, perfecting skills…

The natural path for something that is constantly evolving is to accompany that growth with decisions that live up to it. That’s the reason for a bigger booth with such quality. *spoiler alert: Global Partner!

Beyond the new color palette and a much friendlier interface, things that are very important for usability, the new features (Workflows, Agents, Scheduler and Duplicate Vulns) are undoubtedly a qualitative leap (milestone), a change of paradigm: Faraday and comprehensive Vulnerability Management.

After two intense days of conference we decided to meet with friends and colleagues to celebrate like we do every year. Our “get together” was a success, as said by the attendees. We managed, at least for a few hours, to get out of the dizzying pace proposed/imposed by Las Vegas. The collaborative spirit (“’the community’’) was reflected in an atmosphere of relaxation between drinks, reunions and anecdotes.

DefCon arrived and the technical part of the team took their chance to nurture with the latest on cybersecurity, a ’con’ made just for that; by the community, for the community (like the ekoparty!). They also visited the Vendor Area to increase the stock of hacking hardware for our Research Lab, with resources such as books on “Practical Cloud Security” and a BLE400 Bluetooth 2.4G Mother Board.

Finally, we proudly announce that we will be Black Hat Global Partner. After many years of uninterrupted presence in BH USA, we have the privilege of being able to present Faraday in BH EUROPE and BH ASIA. And there we will be ;)

We could end this article with “see you at Las Vegas 2020”, but actually and hopefully, see you in December at London! :)

Consequences of a whole week in Vegas
