On days like today, with high winds blowing through the trees and through the gaps in the windows my brain struggles to remember a time before the wind and does not believe that a time after the wind is possible.
Embedded in the hillside the house is not as exposed as the top of the hill where almond trees are blossoming. The wind tugging and blowing at the flowers creates a flurry of petals that fly in all directions.
