You’d think you know all about Farmz2U, but be awed to know that you know just about half of what this mega inspiring organization really is. Giving a bit of background information, Farmz2U is an online platform aimed at economic empowerment of farmers and ensuring food security across nations thereby improving the general health and wellbeing of the human race.
The good
Since its take-off in 2019, Farmz2U has set a stronghold in not just the agri-tech space but the technology environment as a whole. Maintaining a value system of transparency and innovation coupled with customer obsession, this led us to successfully onboarding over 6000 farmers in our database. Our current farmer base cuts across regions of both the Northern and Southern Nigeria and Kenya.
Farmz2U’s growing success can be attributed to the desire to deliver social and economic value beyond financial gain. This is why our services has earned a recognition at national and international levels. For instance, recognition by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UnitedNations as a promising practice. Our services are also aligned to the United Nations SDG goals with a primary focus on 2 (Zero Hunger) and 12 (Responsible Production and Consumption).

The best
A distinguishing factor that places Farmz2U above similar tech platforms is the fertile and highly resourceful learning environment and culture. Every member of the team (aka hitchhiker) is independently dependent (did that make sense?😁).
With regards to culture, Farmz2U places a high priority on the selection of hitchhikers, keeping in mind diversity, gender balance and career growth. This makes for a dynamic DNA 🧬 at Farmz2U. In as much the need for individuality and excellence in each hitchhikers’ strengths in their various departments, there are avenues to gain new knowledge from other departments. This has led to a cohesive approach on matters and decision making, thereby making our operations smooth and seamless and yet always learning #Kazien!
There is no room for disputation of ancient, “old-school” farming techniques as the hitchhikers work with a mindset of balance in agriculture, bridging the old and new; the “millennials” and the “gen Z” as some would say.
