Thanks to an idea put forward by FMF writer John Alexander, we are embarking on a new adventure! It’s called MacGuffin Mayhem, and yes it’s just as much fun as it sounds.

Second, here are the very simple rules for MacGuffin Mayhem!:

• Write a short story with the prompted MacGuffin!
• Must use MacGuffin Mayhem as one of your 5 topic tags.
• One writer will start the Mayhem.
• Participating writers must link a previous story that one of their fellow FMF writers wrote for MacGuffin Mayhem for the current prompt.
• Story has to borrow elements from the linked story as well as the MacGuffin, but does not necessarily continue it…
