Niki Taylor was born March 5, 1975 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. At the age of 13, Taylor signed with Irene Marie Models. Soon after, she won the Fresh Faces contest in NYC, and then was on the cover of Seventeen magazine at 14 years old.

At the age of 15, Taylor got the cover of Vogue. Next, Niki Taylor signed a major deal with CoverGirl, and then added Liz Claiborne, Nokia, Ellen Tracy, L’Oréal, Gap, Lee Jeans, Rampage clothes, and Pantene.

In 1996, Niki Taylor appeared on the covers of Allure, Vogue, ELLE, Marie Claire, Self, and Shape- all in the same month. Taylor has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue several times, adorning the cover in 1998.

In 2005, Taylor launched her fragrance, Begin by Niki Taylor.
