But actually…

Alright, so this Jersey girl is damn near about to lose it with this cold weather! Who can relate? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Did Spring lose a bet or something? Because it is about to be April, and we just had more snow a few days ago.

It’s like that girl at the bar that just wants “one more shot” 🙄 GO HOME WINTER, YOU’RE DRUNK.

I’m trying not to let the cold weather get to me, but it’s s-no-w use (heh, see what I did there?) Like Mother Nature herself, I’ve become this bitter, cold being — it SUCKS; AND as much as I love my long coat from Forever 21 (I wear it about every damn day) I’m SO ready to put the thing away!

Basically my attitude right now. LOL (this was my outfit mid-february — random heat wave? okay.)

SO, to help boost my spirits a bit, and yours as well, I’m trying to change up my wardrobe to really “spring” into action — if you will. I’ve put together some different looks that function well for cooler weather, but also try to squeeze a little bit of spring flare in there. Just a tad though, because well, I woke up this A.M., and it was about 30° out he he he. UGH, gross!

When in doubt, you can’t go wrong with a combo like these! Skirts/shorts are definitely not something you can always get away with in the winter, BUT pair them with some cute tights/socks and comfy sweater and you’re set! You won’t look seasonally confused, I swear!

Outfit deets:

Orange sweater: Urban Outfitters; Tights/socks (both outfits): American Apparel; Denim skirt: Forever 21; Sweater: Cotton:On; Beanie: Yea.Nice; Combat Boots: Steve Madden

Tired of wearing coats? Well then I have one important word for you — L A Y E R I N G! I used a hoodie with a blazer over it to help battle the cold a tad. I love love love blazers, especially this blue one from Urban Outfitters. I’m always looking for ways to style it!

Outfit deets:

Hooded sweater: Kohl’s; Jeans: Pistola (purchased at Gypsy Warrior — no longer in business 😢); Blazer: Urban Outfitters; Watch: The Horse

Lastly, I threw in this cropped sweater from Hollister because I feel it’s perfect year-round (ALMOST). You can dress them however you want to fit the look you’re going for. It’s still a sweater, so it’s cozy for when the temps drop, but throw on a denim jacket and flats and you’ll give everyone spring fever! 👌🏼

How’s the weather by you? Are you trying to free yourself from Winter’s death-grip as well? 🙄

Fashionablee yours ❤

Lisa

I’m a simple Jersey Girl. I enjoy mom and pop shops, especially if I can get a good cup of a coffee. This is where I tell my story. ❤
