FashionGo Dropshipping was first launched in May of this year and our mission was to provide new ways for retail businesses to procure merchandise on demand to sell to their customers versus bulk buying through our Wholesale Platform. Nearly half a year since launch, we’ve noticed buying behaviors are both vastly different in terms of categories and styles retailers are buying. With the busiest sales event of the year now behind us, we were able to dig deeper on insights of FashionGo Dropshippers behaviors to see how Dropshippers can strategize better for 2023.

Unlike our Wholesale platform, FashionGo Dropshippers are procuring merchandise the moment an order is made from their customers, giving us direct insight to how the end consumer is shopping. One trend we’ve noticed from existing wholesale buyers is that they are leveraging FashionGo Dropshipping to sell product categories that are not so easy to merchandise, inventory, and fulfill. Footwear specifically has been a top performing category for Black Friday and Cyber Monday but we’ve noticed high purchasing volume in categories like outerwear and sweaters.

OCEAN AND 7TH MRS CLAUS BUT MARRIED TO THE GRINCH LS TEE
KKE ORIGINALS OASIS SOCIETY JUNIPER — PLATFORM KNEE-HIGH BOOTS
LILOU HOUND TOOTH LONG SHACKET

We’ve also seen creative ways wholesale buyers leverage the FashionGo Dropshipping platform. Product testing to see if an item will perform well before procuring bulk quantities on FashionGo Wholesale has been both a cost-effective and resourceful strategy we’ve seen being used by buyers and see it being used more in 2023.

Nearly half a year since the introduction of FashionGo Dropshipping, we’re constantly looking for new tools and solutions that enable retailers to shop smarter, sell more, & grow faster.
