FAB Foundation Nominated for Markham Business Award of Excellence in Innovation
The FAB Foundation has been announced for the 2018 Markham Business Award of Excellence in Innovation, highlighting the several innovations the organization has made in technology.
In the past year, FAB has released the first stage Fast Access Blockchain which has processed hundreds of thousands of transactions between tens of thousands of users on the network. When complete, the project will boast an application layer for enterprise, B2B and B2C applications that can handle transactions of value or data up to 1 million per second.
FAB Founder has presented the project innovations, comprising both open source code and several patented technologies at academic institutions around the world including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, the University of Toronto, Brussels, England and China.
The City of Markham, located on the northeast border of Toronto, is Canada’s high-tech capital bolstered by the most ICT companies per thousand residents in Canada and over 1,000 high-tech companies including IBM, Oracle, AT&T, GE, AMD, Huawei, Toshiba, Lenovo, Qualcomm and more.
