FAB Partners with Rx Arte to Bring Fine Art to the Blockchain

The FAB Foundation has announced a new partnership with an exciting new project bringing art to the blockchain, Rx Arte. Rx Arte is a blockchain platform that sells, licenses, protects, stores and manages intellectual property rights such as art, limited editions, collectibles and other luxury goods and will also be a marketplace for artists.
The project is headed by intellectual property lawyer and art agent Vandana Taxali at Encountsel, https://www.entcounsel.com.
Vandana’s brother, internationally known fine artist and illustrator Gary Taxali, is also involved in the project. Gary is a contemporary fine artist known for his retro vintage pop art style rooted from an award winning illustration background. As both a professor and fine artist, he has worked with organizations ranging from the Royal Canadian Mint and The Whitney Museum of American Art (New York) to Sony, The Rolling Stone, Time Magazine and Nintendo.

Vandana is an intellectual property and business lawyer for creatives and entrepreneurs. She has mentored startups at various incubators and has executed partnerships, marketing, business development, licensing deals and launched products in the art and fashion space with Harry Rosen, the Royal Canadian Mint and more. She was also former Chair of the Canadian Art Gala and served on the committee for the Toronto Art Fair. She has also organized art panels and curated exhibitions.
FAB will partner with the project to solve the issues of provenance, chain of title, security, faster transactions and protect intellectual property in the art, collectibles, luxury goods and other intellectual property space. Rx Arte will also be a marketplace for artists.
Rx Arte is a platform for the current art economy giving artists a voice and power utilizing blockchain.
It helps artists, galleries and auction houses ensure more secure faster sale and transactions while managing, licensing and protecting the intellectual property in the art and recording provenance and chain of custody.
