XR and Creativity Symposium

A two-day digital symposium on October 1–2 that will bring together HDRs, ECRs through to late career experts, featuring key note presentations by five leading international scholars.

Out of this conversation will come the opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, and we strongly encourage submissions to a special issue of the Journal of Virtual Creativity on the same theme.

A primary aim of this forum is inspire transdisciplinary research networking that supports early career researchers (ECRs) focused on research and innovation in a range of creative, applied and clinical applications of emerging XR technologies. A ‘Fast Forward’ session will be held with ten minute presentations invited about current and emerging projects, featuring scholars from diverse specialised knowledge fields including the Creative Industries, Psychology, and the Medical and Health Sciences.
