Lord “Monty” Montague finally makes an on-screen appearance
Finally, in the one hundredth Father Brown episode, Lord “Monty” Montague makes his first and only on-screen appearance. Many times since Father Brown first hit British television screens, back in 2013, Lady Felicia Montague has referenced her husband in conversation. Alexander Hanson, playing Lord “Monty” Montague, does a great job with the material given him.
Hanson, the perfect Lord “Monty” Montague, turned in an exceptionally well-rounded performance. He effortlessly made the character his own. The only thing Hanson had to compete with was fan expectations. It seems, from fan reactions, Hanson delivered the goods.
The Red Death, further to series regular cast members Mark Williams, Sorcha Cusack, Alex Price, Jack Deam, and John Burton, stars Richard Dillane, Gemma Page, Michael Kavanagh, and Lee Goode.
Nancy Carroll, John Light, and Emer Kenny, respectively playing Lady Felicia Montague, Hercule Flambeau, and the Honourable Penelope “Bunty” Windermere, showed up for the one hundredth episode.
Light, making his tenth guest appearance as Hercule Flambeau, had his sights set on a certain jewel of Kembleford… Lady Felicia…
