MLB Players and Their Dads

The Red Sox may be struggling, but the fans need to remember that they have won three World Series in the past eleven years, so things could really be a lot worse — just look at Cleveland (not their streak of losing continued with last night’s loss in the NBA Finals).

One of the unsung heroes of the 2013 Championship team was the Flyin’ Hawaiian, Shane Victorino. Victorino has been sidelined for most of the 2014 and 2015 seasons, but his grand slam in Game 6 of the 2013 ALCS against the Tigers was one of the defining moments of that playoff run.

We found this good story about Victorino and has Dad on MLB.com. They ran a series of stories featuring other players, and we encourage you to check it out.
