Favematic is a project I’ve been involved with for many years. It initially started as a completely different site, but as time rolled on, we’ve rebuilt the entire application from the ground up and developed our proprietary, lightning-fast website snapshot generator.

The idea for drag & drop bookmarks app with desktop and mobile support arose from my personal need to store, organize and retrieve bookmarks from the cloud. I wanted to have a built-in drag & drop ability because it is simple and intuitive.

So after much planning, I was fortunate enough to run across some of the most talented developers available anywhere. We discussed the features and began working on the project. Nearly 2 years later, our application is live and well.

We chose medium to host the official Favematic Blog, because it is super simple to use for both the visitors and publishers.
