What is Fayrworks?
The platform where people connect
We created Fayrworks as a meeting place for small entrepreneurs and people in need of their services. Fayrworks is for someone looking for professional help in everyday life: a family planning for a night out and looking for a babysitter, or maybe a city person who just moved to their first own house and struggling with getting rid of ants in the basement. It’s also for someone who can help: from a local entrepreneur offering handyman services to a person looking for a side gig to make extra money.
The one-stop-shop to find help
I spent my first months after moving to Finland, sleeping on a mattress in the middle of an empty room. Not like I couldn’t buy a bed — I couldn’t find anyone to bring it to the third floor in the apartment building without an elevator, where I lived. Sometimes one needs help to find help. Searching for a service provider, negotiating date, and price, finding a common language can be exhausting, so we created Fayrworks to get it fixed.
The place to reach customers directly and conveniently
Starting a new small business or running an existing one is not an easy task, and current uncertain times do not make it easier. From acquiring new customers via online presence to supporting you through the steps of your new business journey — we are here to help. We are committed to taking care of terms, cancellation policies, late payments, and all the other hassle, so our professionals can focus on doing.
The startup built by three friends (and family) 👶
The Fayrworks idea was born a couple of months after two of our founders got a kid together. Honestly, the pains of first-time parenthood and the inability to find full-scale help around the house were a huge source of motivation to build a tool to get our struggles sorted out.
The idea got a new spin when the COVID-19 broke out. With so many people being laid off, we saw an opportunity to support our local professionals by creating a space to offer their skills and get paid.
