Don’t we all wish to fly through our to do list and just tick everything off our list. We multitask to catch up with deadlines, and use different apps hoping to boost our productivity. Somehow, no matter what we do, we still feel unproductive and exhausted. What’s missing?

The thing you’re missing is: exercise. Did you know that exercising can increase productivity in your life?

Going out for a run or joining a zumba class you are releasing endorphins into your body, and that results in a boost in your mood. When you’re jumping around to the beat of the music you’re increasing blood flow to the brain — and that can help boost your awareness. Improving your mental capacity will help you tackle your next big project at work. According to the American Council on Exercise there is a protein called BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) that boosts your cognitive abilities that is triggered when you exercise.

Having more energy means that you will be more productive at work. Being productive will have you at the top of your game at work. Working out stops you from experiencing a “brain fog”. We all know how it feels to have a foggy brain, and it’s not great.

Our FAZZMILY in action

Besides boosting you with more energy, exercise is shown to reduce stress levels as well. If it keeps you from having a mental breakdown at work, then it should be a lifestyle you need to maintain. It can be hard to set a proper workout routine, but if you don’t have the willingness to change then you’ll never make time.

You don’t have to put in a full cardio workout every day, instead you can run every other day for 30 minutes. Or maybe you can find a class you would like to join twice a week. Making small changes like this can help you to create a routine to stick to.

When you don’t workout regularly, you’re not just putting your health at risk, but your job is at risk too. PAYFAZZ is determined to stay healthy and fit, because work wouldn’t be as exciting and fun when we are all droopy and unproductive. There are sports clubs that are provided for all employees to make sure everyone is at the top of their game. Become a FAZZMILY by clicking here, and you’ll get the chance to join in our next workout session!
