Before we start, take a guess: what is the oldest job in the world? If your answer is a salesperson, then you would be right! Our ancestors sailed around the globe to sell spices, silk, and other goods. That means, every one of you has a potential to be in sales just like our ancestors. You might even already be in the business, such as owning a business beside your main job. Yup, that’s sales!

Most of us come from diverse backgrounds. For example, me, I did sales when I was in college to earn extra cash to buy books, gadgets, and everyday things — and I ended up loving it. Some of the sales team came from Consumer Goods, Telecommunications Company, Car Dealership, and even SAAS company. Some people from the team loves to be salesperson, because they get to meet new people, the challenge, and they also get to push their target. Exciting isn’t? Who doesn’t love pushing their limits? We love it.

You’re probably wondering what does the Sales Team do every day, let me enlighten you…

Our daily routine consists of meetings & mentoring, analyzing data, and communicating with our agents. That is just a general picture of what our team does in day.

We start our day with a target briefing at 8:30am, this is where the leaders breakdown the data and guides us to the right track to achieve our target. There are times when our leaders might taunt us about our work, because it does not meet their standards. We see this as tough love and motivation to help us reach the designated target. We all have a performance driven mindset, so during the briefing our leaders will also check on our performance and our plan and strategy to achieve the target.

Before we head off to our area at around 9:00am, we communicate with our agents about how our applications and platforms work. Since most agents use multiple apps and platforms, we try to be the first to say “hello”. This leaves a great impression on our agents, and we can all agree that love always happen at first sight, right?

After we greeted them, we visit our agents to strengthen the bond between us. We also educated them about new products, talk able upcoming promotion, and listen to their constructive feedback. Everyone loves having someone to listen to their stories, and our agents love talking. It’s impossible to get bored, because they are just filled with so many fascinating stories. While the hot Jakarta sun is bearing down on our necks, without hesitation our agents always gives us refreshments or snacks. This kind of relationship between the sales team and the agents only happen when we bond with each other.

Besides bonding and chatting, we always educate them about our products and promotions, so they can use more of our products. Our agents love promotions, because they love promotions they usually demand more, and that’s alright with us. Since the sales team are always available to teach and help the agents, they are free to call us when they need help. We serve them in anyway possible, and in result the excellent service we provided them becomes an encouragement for them to stay loyal to our product. That’s the real bond between our sales team and our agent.

We do our best to solve their complaints by meeting or talking with them. Our ears are always open to whatever they have to say, but there are times when we feel a tremendous amount of pressure from our beloved agents. Sometimes when our system has too many pending errors our phones will be ringing off the hook all filled with complaints. Because our agents are being hounded by their customers, the only people the agents can turn to for help is the sales team. When they call they ask for the fastest solution, so they are able to serve their customers. We always listen, and we try our best to fix the problem. That’s why our value, Pro Customer, runs in our blood.

We are filled with joy and love when our agents recommends FAZZ Financial Products to their friends. It is an indescribable feeling, that is also irreplaceable.

After a whole day of visiting agents, at 6:00pm we go back home and prepare a report for our leaders. Almost as if they are reciting a diary to their leaders. We take note of every visit, every top-up, and every single detail we find while we are on the field. When we don’t reach our target, we don’t get brownie points from our leaders. It’s not the end of the world though, it just means that we will need to work a tad bit harder to achieve the target for the day.

Here’s another trivia for you. Did you know that our team has already served agents in the far West and the South of Indonesia? Our team has been to each end of Indonesia to serve our agents. It exciting and exhilarating to serve them. We are waiting for you to experience the excitement with us, come and visit our agents with the sales team! There’s a chance you’ll learn something new, and you’ll get to see how PAYFAZZ has impacted them from their point of view.
