Game 4: 1569days later, Top of CSL again
I have to congratulate Jiangsu, after defeat Guangzhou Fuli, they have become the top of Gourp A in CSL, after 1569days waiting. Also, 17 games without a loss is a new team record for JS. Great Job for Mr.Olaroiu.
Back to the game 4, JS made a couple of switch of the starting. Zhang Cheng (RD), Huang Zichang(RF) and Yang Boyu(CD) replaced Hamit / Xie Pengfei / Li Ang. In this special season, the performance of rotate players is very important for all the team.
JS made a great first half with two goals ahead, both made by Teixeira. The team control the game for 45 mins, given the opponent nearly no chance at all. Ji Xiang switched to left attacking forward pushed Tang Miao could only stay at his own side, filled the work of Xie Pengfei’s absence. Fuli is bothering by their poor defense since the season started, and seems no improvement at all. Like our coach said, “what I am thinking when facing Fuli, is how to make a goal, not concede.”
What worried every fans is the second half, when Fuli paced up. Both Zhang Cheng and Zhou Yun could not stopped the ball away from own side or copy the pace of opponent. Facing two or more attacking players is very difficult while Huang Zichang and Ji Xiang is tired. The penalty given by Huang Zichang is the sign that some changes need to be done at once. Luckily, Gu Chao(GK) become the hero this game, he saved Zahavi’s penalty and give his teammates great confidence. The result has been decided since this perfect save.
I have to keep questioning whether Zhou Yun \ Zhang Cheng \ Hamit is qualified as CSL startup player, but we donot have any other choice either. From the beginning of the second half, we could learn that Teixeira and Eder’s stamina are not in a good form. And I do have talked about Wakaso’s flak. Santini was sub onto the pitch in the last twenty mins, but was unable to make any opportunity. The dispute between Wakaso and Santini of which one should be the start is still going on.
Considering it’s only the 4th game of the season, it’s not bad result for this match, even not to mention our Gu Chao’s good performance. We are going to face our rival Shanghai Shenhua next Friday, Guangzhou Evergrand after that, the toughest part is coming.
