Due to daily work, I have not wrote anything during last two weeks. Fans of Jiangsu like me must be very disappointed while the result is 2lost and 1draw. I expected the result is not good, but not that bad.

I surely believed every fans of Jiangsu understand the importance of the result facing Shenhua, but the team failed us; I surely believed every fans of Jiangsu understand we will forgive the loss against Shenhua if you got 3 point from Guangzhou, but the team failed us; I surely believed every fans of Jiangsu want a win when you have an early goal ahead facing Shenzhen, but the team failed us. We here still supporting you because we know you are trying your best, but that’s not enough. We need to know you are improving yourselves and worth our faith.

There are plenty of details we could talk about now since it’s half stage of the first stage, 7 games. Our coach Mr.Cosmin Olaroiu must be the first topic. No doubt, our coach has a great depth of knowledge both our own team and other teams in CSL. Fans should appreciated if the team got a 17-streak without loss since it’s a great achievement in Jiangsu CSL history. Meanwhile, there are main three controversies:

A) Lack of rotation

The virus made CSL a busy season, every team need to play about three games in every two weeks, about 50% more than past season basically. Jiangsu has an elder start-up compared with many other teams. The key player have all past 30: Teixeira(30) \ Wu Xi(31) \ Miranda(35), while the first team players are nearly the same situation Eder(33) / Santini(31) / Ji Xiang(30). There are about 5–7 players played more than 450mins, all included in above names. The disadvantage could easily be found in the last 30mins of last three games: our players have the will to carry out the tactics while their stamina said NO.

This confused me cause we have talent young players and new signings. There are no big difference between most of Chinese players beside those big names in my opinion. Many strong teams use this season especially this stage as a test field, give more time to young players, and give more time for the elder player to rest. Since we only have a small opportunities to be end as No.1 in group A, why don’t we do the same like Guangzhou and Shandong?

B) How to use foreign players

Generally, Wakaso is a great BWM, and he has the ability to play in CSL. My question is how to choose start-up foreign players. Since Miranda is irreplaceable, we have to chose three foreign players between Teixeira \ Eder \ Santini \ Wakaso. If we use Wakaso, we may have more ball possession but lack of forwarders who can keep the ball inside the box; if we use Santini, we could have some head ball but can’t keep the ball in our feet; if we use Eder, whether he has the stamina to play full match, very difficult questions for our coach. Mr.Cosmin Olaroiu choose to keep Santini bench until about 70min based on the scoreboard, and sub Wakaso or Eder based on stamina and ball possession situation. is there any better choice? Based on last three games‘ result, we may need something more than how we play now.

C) Should we keep believe in Gu Chao?

He made many mistakes every season. This time he just made another mistake, that’s all. We all know he is not the best GK in CSL, never or ever. But after the game with Shenzhen, the conceded goal slapped us and leave us with a question: Do you have other qualified goalkeeper? The bench in the Shenzhen game destroy Gu Chao’s fragile nerves, he should stay on the pitch to prove himself. And the concede goal seems mostly the whole defending line’s fault, Zhang Yan should not be beaten so easy.

There are many voice these day in CSL forum, while some I don’t want mention. The result of first stage is not so important, all we fans need is the hope.
