Why do we *still* blame the other woman?

You may know Lily James.

She stepped into the glass slippers for Disney’s live-action Cinderella. She danced her way through Greece as the young Meryl in Mamma Mia 2. And, most recently, she’s taking on the doe-eyed new wife in Netflix’s “Rebecca.”

She became America’s newest British sweetheart.

And, of course, she’s human, so here we go.

This is what happened.

Earlier this month, pictures of Lily James and Dominic West were released by the Daily Mail. There was lots of… touching. He’s married; she’s not. They’re both actors who were bound to get caught with all that PDA.

The headline read, “Married ‘The Affair’ star Dominic West, 50, ditches his wedding ring as she passionately kisses and cuddles ‘Downton Abbey’ star Lily James, 31, during very public romantic break in Rome.”

My initial thoughts?

1. They’re putting the onus on Dominic West, who is the married one. Good choice. (Also, thanks for pointing out that he was in a show called “The Affair.” The irony does not escape me.)
2. They’re very concerned with the age difference. There…
