Fearless She Wrote

My Fate

A Poem

Photo by Fred Kearney on Unsplash

all I can do is try
to meet you with assertive eyes

to defeat valiantly the voices you cannot hear
“synonyms” that color my emotions with fear

futile. fruitless. frivolous. fantastical.

I am deafened by your roars that my freedom is impractical.
