The law enforcement has taken a page out of colonial Brits and is trying to incite violence amongst the kia’i on the Pu’u Huluhulu on Mauna Kea for an excuse to come in and sweep the site, thus removing the protestors.
In other words, the enforcement has taken to bullying and harassing people.
Sobriety checks, frequent sweeps, false arrests, bulldozing a structure and forming a blockade while armed with batons against kia’i protesting, cutting the flag in half…
The enforcement is doing all it can to remove the protestors to serve their own sick capitalistic agenda. Reminds me of the ‘annexation’.
