Happy September, and welcome to the first Fearless She Wrote newsletter!

As we were reading through our submissions, we felt humbled by the stories that our writers are willing to share with us and our Fearless audience. The stories we receive are beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful, and unendingly courageous.

As such, we’ve chosen to start a monthly newsletter. Life is busy; we don’t all have the opportunity to log into Medium every day, and we don’t want our readers or our writers to miss a beat!

We plan to highlight five stories each month (roughly one for each week) that have really caught our attention, and re-share them in our newsletter. Our hope is that by driving stories directly to our readers’ inboxes, we’ll be able to ensure they don’t miss quality content, and we’ll also give our writers a much-deserved attention boost.

Thank you for sharing your stories with us, and we look forward to reading and publishing more of your incredible work!

Happy fall!

Meet the Editor

This month we’re highlighting our editor, Gillian Sisley!

When she’s not writing on Medium or editing Fearless She Wrote, she’s busy running her own social media company.

Fun fact about Gillian: she’s getting married this month!

Gillian has been very open in her writing about her decision to save her first intercourse experience for marriage, and this month we’ll be featuring Gillian’s article This Chick is Ready to Finally Get Laid.
