Fearless Wallet Embarks on a New Round of Development With an Approved Kusama Treasury Proposal

Key Components of the Proposal and Upcoming Feature Set
First and foremost, Fearless Wallet has a strong legacy of carefully crafted UI and extra attention to UX ever since its first inception, and today we are more committed than ever to continuously keep pushing this bar even higher. As part of the next development stage, we are going to completely revamp the UI/UX style and functionality for the major aspects of key wallet components, addressing the challenges of supporting multiple assets from hundreds of parachains and standalone networks, along with the possibility to exchange tokens between all these networks as well as interacting with NFTs.
Speaking of NFTs, the first stage of this implementation will include Statemine and Kusama (RMRK) NFTs with flows to display NFT lists and collections, as well as NFT details and transfers. Similarly, in the first stage, the most valuable and sought-after Democracy functions such as Referenda and the ability to submit and vote for Proposals will be implemented, along with off-chain integration of Polkassembly and Subsquare governance platforms. All are compatible with the upcoming ”Gov2” governance upgrade.
Next up, the long-awaited support for XCM cross-chain teleports is finally ready to hit Fearless Wallet, so that our incredibly fearless users can move their assets between relay chains and parachains with previously unheard of style and freedom. Of course, we aren’t stopping there, with innovations like the Nomination Pool functionality getting implemented straight into the staking flow, Fearless Wallet is set to be at the forefront of trends in the Dotsama ecosystem yet again, bringing complex feature sets to an utmost user-friendly mobile wallet.
Amazingly, there is yet another elegant solution included in this set of features to round things off in an even more fearless style, we have included a dApp connector and signer, allowing users to establish and maintain connections with dApps as well as verify transactions via the mobile app without the need for users to export their accounts to web browser extensions. Neat! 🤓
As we know, the Dotsama ecosystem continues to grow rapidly. Over the last months, relay chain runtime upgrades have been happening almost every 2 weeks, and the amount of onboarded parachains is increasingly growing. All this brings along plenty of new and disruptive innovations, also meaning that projects such as Fearless Wallet must keep up with these trends and changes. Wallets play an important role in being the most obvious entry point for a vast diversity of features, and therefore, having to be fearlessly on the cutting edge of the overall ecosystem progress.
Expect fearless public demos around every 3 weeks, with exact details announced on Twitter, Telegram, Element usually 1 week ahead. Deliverables with new features to AppStore and Google Play expected every 4 weeks on average. Full scope of the development round expected to be completed by the end of this year.
