Like it was in grade school.

Like it was when your whole world was you and 23 other kids in class.

What if your barista was as excited to see you your childhood best friend, Dave?

What if when you call in sick to work on Monday, Angela from Accounting was as bummed as Katherine was when you missed school for a week because you broke your leg?

Well, unfortunately, that’s not realistic. It’s not plausible. There’s too many of us in the adult world. And no one seems to care enough.

But what if you just pretended, anyway?

What if you walked in that coffee shop, the office, the grocery store, a gas station and held your chin up, your shoulders back and walked with just a touch of swag in your step?

What if you simply didn’t give a damn and acted like everyone knew you? Better yet, as if everyone should know you?

Start each day by convincing yourself that everyone knows your name. Convince yourself you’re worth it.

That confidence might just find it’s way into every other part of your life, too.
