Electrum Wallet for Feathercoin Goes Into Public Beta
Barely a week has passed since the announcement of the Feathercoin Development Foundation and there is already exciting news to share: we are opening our beta version of the Electrum-FTC wallet to the public.
Its codebase builds on Electrum 3.0.6 developed by Thomas Voegtlin and offers all the great features you’ve come to expect from the project such as Instant On, Proof Checking, No Lock-In, Cold Storage (watching-only wallet), Multisig and Funds Recovery via a secret phrase.
You can find binaries for Windows and MacOS here (Linux on its way!) and report bugs on Github. If you’re not sure how to use Github or want to leave general feedback, you can reach us on info@feathercoin.foundation.
While we have tested this version and believe it to be stable, we’re still adding the “Beta” label until a wider audience has confirmed that it runs without a hickup. In any case, make sure to write down your seed phrase and store it in a safe place!
