Developing websites is fun. And being aware of websites that will be of assistance during various phases of development is a bonus. Here is a list of websites that might help you.

1)Color Hunt:

Choosing the correct colour palette for your website is a significant task. Color Hunt makes this task easier by grouping the colour palettes into Pastel, Neon, Gold, Vintage, Retro and much more! Choosing the correct splash of colours for your website makes it look appealing therefore choose sensibly and don’t forget to have fun while choosing your colour palette.

2) Google Fonts:

Now, the task of choosing a colour palette has been done and dusted, we gotta move forward to making our website look even more pretty and Google Fonts help us achieve this. There are plenty of fonts available in google fonts including but not limited to professional fonts like Helvetica, Sabon, Oswald, our very old Times New Roman etc and quirky fonts like Qahiri, Zen Loop, Festive, Fuggles etc. The list goes on

3) Neumorphism

Used to generate cards, blobs etc in ‘Neumorphic’ style. The main benefit of this style is the “freshness”. It brings that “new feel” to the interface and makes it stand out. Just take a look at the website and have fun. The code will be generated below which can be copied and used in your code.

4)Blobs

Lately, blobs have been in trend. Blobs are that disfigured, boundless eccentric block you might have seen on a website. It came out of nowhere and took over the web design community in 2018. With the website linked above even someone with no knowledge about web design can create a blob in a very short time. With options to choose the colour you want, pattern, image etc the website has become a favourite for me and most developers. The code is generated based on what blob you create and you can include it in your code.

5)Haikei:

Some patterns one can create in Haikei

Link: https://haikei.app/

Haikei is a web app to generate unique SVG shapes, backgrounds, and patterns — ready to use with your design tools and workflow. We can choose from several common canvas sizes to help us generate cool backgrounds. We can also tweak the size and compare different generators across formats. Haikei is primarily a creative tool that you can use in many different ways. It also includes a few generators including blobs, Waves, blurry gradients etc for the designer to choose from.

The websites listed above are my personal favourites and have helped me in my journey as a front end developer. Hope you find these helpful and make the most out of these websites. Happy Coding!
