Feed Your Brain is exclusively about food and how it influences your mental health. How what you eat — or don’t eat — can change how you feel, one way or the other. How it can affect your ability to learn new things, remember old things, or just focus on the task at hand. The brain is built from the food you eat, and powered by the nutrients within that food. Food matters.

I’m Maria Cross, the editor. I’ve been working in the field of nutrition for over 25 years, as a consultant, university lecturer, tutor and author, and I started this publication because I saw a real need to highlight the brain-food connection. It’s a much-overlooked area, which is a scandal considering that greater awareness of the facts could transform the lives of people struggling with their mental health, or worried about memory loss.

Could you contribute?

In order to advance awareness of this connection, I’d like to invite writers to submit their own articles. There are two categories of articles that would be suitable.

The first category is personal experience. Especially welcome are submissions from people who have had positive experiences of changing their diet and seeing improvements in their mental health. So many people have left comments on my…
