What are the rarity types?

As discussed in previous articles, the NFT properties and NFT assets have different rarity types which would be an important key aspect to determine the properties and assets that you will want to buy.

Here’s the complete list of the rarities and the perks involved in those. Take note that other special attributes of the NFT properties and NFT assets would depend on the type of NFT you bought (e.g. Greenhouse Farm has a Greenhouse in the farm however not all farms tagged as EUR will have that attribute).

EXCLUSIVE ULTRA RARE (FIRST GEN EDITION): The highest rarity of NFT in the Neighbourhood.

Qualified NFTs:
All NFT Assets that (businesses and farms) were sold during the Private Pre-sale and Golden Sale.

1. 15 tasks per property/asset.

Rarity of NFTs would also determine the staking royalties and other in game perks.

The Business and Farm Economy

In the previous articles, we mentioned that the players would need stamina in order to do the tasks that will give them the $NEIBR token. However, the stamina would be limited and might not be enough to finish all the tasks in order to earn the maximum token.

This is why Businesses and Farms are essential to the economy of Neighbours.

So how does it work?

The farms would be the ones producing products such as milk, fruits, vegetables, eggs, animal meat, and anything that you think a farm can produce including animal feed! Name it, they have it! These products would be delivered to businesses in order for them to create items that they will sell to players.

However, seasons and weather greatly affect the farming mechanism of the game. This would give an advantage to those who already owned a farm with Greenhouse as they can utilize that feature of their farm in order to plant off-season products.

There are also farms that specialized in producing animal products. These farms already have a pre-made barn expansion, chicken coop expansion, or fish pond expansion necessary in order to take care of farm animals and fish. Another farm type would be those that specialized in vegetable and fruit planting as well as animal feeds products. These farms would be able to produce fruits, vegetables and animal feeds more easily than other farms. The ability of farms would depend on their type and rarity as shown in the previous article about Golden Sale.

On the other hand, businesses would supply the items/services needed by the players to replenish their stamina or in some instances temporarily increase the stamina they have per day as well as increase their chances of having NFT drops in the game. The ability of businesses would depend on their type and rarity as shown in the previous article about Golden Sale.

Take note that farm products like seeds and business items like espresso machine would only be available to those who own a farming or business license. If you don’t have one, you cannot purchase the items necessary for farms and businesses. Also, the season will affect the available items in the Neighbours marketplace. For example, if it’s the winter season, we won’t have available spring seeds or spring-type materials for creating clothes.

So how will a farm owner or a business owner earn in the game? There are three (3) ways they can earn!

Farm owners can earn through:
1. Doing the daily routine farm tasks.
2. Supplying the businesses with needed “produce” products
3. Selling their exclusive NFTs (e.g selling spring seeds in the winter season to farmers with Greenhouse) on the marketplace.

Business owners can earn through:
1. Doing the daily routine business tasks.
2. Selling the players with needed items/ services.
3. Selling their exclusive NFTs (e.g selling exclusive NFT merchandise) on the marketplace.

Another factor that affects the token earnings and rewards of the owners would be the rarity of their assets. As we hint during the previous articles, the higher the rarity of your asset or property, the more tokens you earn as well as added perks. More about rarity would be discussed in the next articles!

Business and Farms would be available in both private and public Golden sales and all members who purchased the farms and businesses would automatically have farm and business licenses accordingly however take note that it would be one license per wallet address only. Meaning if you buy 10 farms using one wallet address, only 1 farm license would be dropped on the wallet. The same goes with business.

The Golden License
The Golden License is one of the Exclusive Ultra Rare items that you can have in the Neighbours game. This license can give the owners special perks and NFT drops in the game. Some of its perks are but are not limited to:

a. An early access to the Alpha phase of our Metaverse game.
b. It will allow the holder to apply for specific jobs in the Municipality that have higher token earnings.
c. It will allow asset and property owners access to be part of the workforce and apply in the Municipality.
d. It will give access to the owner for the monthly exclusive avatar NFT collectibles sale in the Marketplace. Items included would be clothing, facial modifications, accessories, shoes etc.
e. Free special cosmetic NFT drops yearly ( Note: NFT drops would depend on the end of year event theme. e.g Sakura themed event might drop special NFT Sakura tea cup set pink geisha styled hair for your avatar.)

Please take note that there are only 5000 Golden Licenses to be released which includes the Golden Citizenship License during the last AVAX sale. We won’t be releasing any more of this license after 5000 are sold out.

Golden Time Warp Band

Golden Time Warp Bands are specially designed and upgraded versions of the automatic time warp bands a player will have in the game. The golden time warp band can automatically transport you to long-distance locations such as islands and the top of the mountains which a normal time warp band cannot do. This can also help you accelerate the time spent to do tasks such as decreasing the time or stamina needed to finish a specific task.

The golden time warp band also have an access to free special cosmetic NFT drops yearly ( Note: NFT drops would depend on the year-end event theme or season. e.g Sakura themed event might drop special NFT Sakura tea cup set or pink geisha styled hair for your avatar.)

Only 5000 Golden Time Warp Bands would be released on the whole game. We won’t be releasing more of Golden Time warp band after the 5000 are sold out.

But what is the Golden Sale?

The Golden Sale is a series of Neighbours NFT Assets sale that’s composed of farms, businesses, Golden license and Time Warp Band. This would be the first and last time we will sell NFT assets until we reach 150k users during Beta Launch. This means if you buy an asset now, you can start earning during the Alpha Phase!

To kick start the Golden Sale, we are starting with the 4340 NFTs during the upcoming Private Pre-Sale this September 29, 2022 at 2pm ET!

Here are the key aspects you need to know before playing the game!

The Daily Tasks board

Once you enter the game, you’ll probably see a small board on the right side of your screen.
This board would be a reminder of all the daily tasks that you need to do in order to earn NEIBR tokens.

Each task has a corresponding token value and would depend on what property and assets you own. For example, if you own a Coffee shop, you’ll have tasks like making a coffee or restocking the coffee beans. The more tasks you finish in a day, the more tokens you earn.

Rarity determines the number of tasks you will have inside the game. The higher the rarity, the more tasks would be given in a day.

Rarities are divided into 6 categories namely, Exclusive Ultra Rare (EUR), Ultra Rare (UR), Special Rare (SR), Super Rare (SUR), Rare (R ), and Normal (N).

There would also be “special tasks” for different property rarity that can give exclusive NFTs, additional stat boosts or other possible rewards daily! (More info about Rarities soon!)

BE AWARE though! Task resets every 12 am Eastern Time. If you missed a task after the reset, you cannot do it anymore the following day. This means you lose an opportunity to complete the maximum earning that day. Better to get help if you have tons of properties and assets!

Watch your Stamina!

Stamina plays a vital role in the game as well.

Your character will have maximum stamina that would be used to do different tasks in the game. Once the STAMINA is drained, you cannot perform any more tasks; however, you have an option to replenish your stamina. There are many ways to replenish your stamina but here are some common ways you can replenish it:
by eating, taking a bath, taking a rest, or sleeping.

Sleeping: Sleeping would be the best way to replenish your stamina to full capacity. However, it would take 8 hours for full replenishment. This means you cannot do any task within the 8 hours period and would need to wait until your character wakes up.

Eating: Food could be bought in the Metaverse or cooked in your home if you already have a fully furnished kitchen. Stamina replenishment via food intake would depend on what type of food you eat. Be careful though, you might get sick if you eat too much and won’t be able to function til the next day.

Taking a bath: Taking a bath will replenish and give you an automatic ½ stamina replenishment/ You can take a bath when you have a fully furnished bathroom or take a bath in the bathhouse near you however, you can only take a bath once a day or you’ll catch a cold and cannot work the whole day. Also, be mindful of the season when taking a bath. Better buy a heater during the winter season!

Rest somewhere scenic: Go somewhere to relax! Go to a coffee shop, to the mall, or even the park. Anywhere as long as there is a “resting place”, you can replenish your stamina there. Take note though that each location has a different amount of stamina that can be replenished and the amount of time it takes for replenishment. Some places may even cost NEIBR token!

Warp Band:

Once you enter the game, you’ll have an automatic warp band equipped on your wrist. This warp band can automatically teleport you on short distances inside the game however, you can upgrade this band to a better one in the future for longer-distance teleport.

Seasons and Weather:

This also plays a vital role in the game. Seasons and weather affect the tasks and stamina of the players. For example, farmers would have a hard time planting summer plants like watermelon during the fall and winter seasons. It’ll probably decrease your stamina more as well if you do outside tasks during the rainy seasons. Manage your tasks properly so you won’t lose a day of earning!

About The Neighbours

The Neighbours features a dynamic play to earn game wherein properties will play a huge role on the earning mechanics.

The game will also have different character classes that will also affect the NFTs you will get in the game as well as the token earnings.

Let’s learn a bit more about these character classes and the qualifications on how you can be part of that Neighbours society class!

Personnel
The Personnel is the working class of the neighbourhood.
This is open to all players who don’t have a property yet and want to earn tokens in the Metaverse using their time and stamina.

This class can apply to various jobs listed in the Municipality by Landlords, Businessmen, or Farm owners. No specific qualifications are needed as long as they are registered as players and the “employer” hire them; however, the amount of tokens this class can earn is not as much compared to property owners.

Businessmen
Businessmen owns various businesses in the Metaverse.
They own businesses in the neighbourhood and can earn tokens by doing their daily tasks and selling their in-game business products.

To get the Businessman title, you need to own at least one business property and a Business License. You’ll then go to the Municipality and have your account verified to get the Businessman Title.

Farm Owners
The Farm owners are the king of supplies in the Metaverse. Their farms produces essential products needed by businesses and households to run throughout the day.

They can earn tokens through doing their daily routinary farm tasks and by supplying the stores with needed “produce” products

To get the Farm owner title, you need to own at least one farm property and a Farming License. Once you have everything, you’ll then go to the Municipality and have your account verified to get the Farm Owner Title.

Landlords
Landlords are real estate tycoons of the Neighbour Metaverse.
They own multiple properties in the neighbourhood that can vary from businesses, farms, or houses.

Landlords can earn tokens by doing their property daily tasks or renting out their properties to other players. They can also get more perks just by holding the title

To get the Landlord title, you need to make sure that you have a Golden License and have 10 home properties and 5 business or 5 farms ( combined business and farms as long as it’s 5 is counted as well) in the Metaverse . You’ll then go to the Municipality and have your account verified to get the Landlord Title.

Landlords would also be entitled to different in-game perks as the game progressed. More info about it TBA.

This game, built on Ethereum blockchain, will let you live your dream life in Metaverse and earn money while enjoying the game.

You can work specialized jobs, run your own business, plant fruits on your own farm, decorate your own home or be a real estate tycoon by owning multiple properties for rent or sell. Everything is possible!

How to Play and Earn In Neighbours?

The game is free to play, but properties play a bigger role in the game.

Property owners would have different tasks depending on the property they owned and each task done will give them NEIBR tokens as reward.

Just be careful to lose stamina, as you cannot do any more tasks for the next 12 hours, unless you recharge using NFT in-game items.

Properties can also be decorated and extended. Each decoration and expansions won’t just make your property pretty, but will also boost stats that can help you not just to earn more, but increase your stamina.

What if you don’t have a property yet?

You can still play and earn!

Yes! We have the Personnel class wherein all you need to do is apply for a job in the game and start earning! This feature will help other players to earn and buy their dream Neighbour property!

The game also allows players to participate in the game governance, via a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), where they can exercise their voting rights on key decisions of the ecosystem.

We will manually transfer 30% of the profit from the treasury wallet to the community rewards wallet.

The NEIBR reserve wallet which holds 70% of the profit will be used for research and development to grow the Neighbours ecosystem.

All business generates revenue in 2 ways. The first way is through the community rewards which airdrop weekly NEIBR tokens to business holders. The second way is by selling to Neighbours community different products.

The Neighbours Team will provide business owners with a weekly inventory to be sold to the Neighbours community. Since the Neighbours Team is acting as a supplier to the business owner, it will provide inventory at no charge but will take a percentage on every sale.

At first, the price will be predetermined by The Neighbours Team to ensure fairness in the ecosystem but later on when the community grows business owners will be able to determine their price depending on the market.
