This article covers how to add to the Arbitrum network, transfer assets and redeem tokens on the Arbitrum network.

The following are three methods of depositing funds. Here are the three methods in detail: decentralized wallet (TokenPocket & BitKeep), CEX(Binance & OKX), and cross-chain. You can choose the appropriate method according to your own situation.

Decentralized Exchanges / DEX

Token Pocket

TokenPocket’s swap function, which can quickly exchange a token from another chain to another token from another chain. Here we take BSC’s USDT as an example.

1. Log in to your Token Pocket account. On your Token Pocket, click on “Swap”. Here, we can swap our selected tokens into Arbitrum. From ETH, USDT, BUSD, and lots of tokens to swap from.

2. In Bridging tokens, simply choose “Bridge” in the selection. Let’s select Arbitrum One chain from the drop down menu. Then we can select the tokens we wish to bridge.

3. Now for switching chains or networks, simply click on the networks located on the top left. By default, Arbitrum is added to the list of available networks.

And that’s how easy swapping, bridging, switching, or adding Arbitrum One on Token Pocket is.

BitKeep

BitKeep’s Swap function is similar to TokenPocket’s, which supports simultaneous Swap and cross-chain.

1. Choose which token you want to sell on which chain and get the ETH, ARB, or USDT of the Arbitrum chain and other multiple tokens, and then click Swap

2. Switch the current network to other networks in the upper right corner of the homepage. If you have not added the Arbitrum network, click “Add Network’’ below. Tick the Arbitrum network, and then click the “Confirm” button, thus you have successfully added it.

Centralized Exchanges / CEX

Withdrawal from Binance Exchange

1. Wallet — Fiat and Spot

2. Search ETH or ARB — Withdraw

3. Paste the address and select the network we want to mention: Arbitrum One

4. Enter your Arbitrum One address, verify your personal information, and it will be successful.

Withdrawal from OKX Exchange

OKX not only supports the withdrawal of $ETH, but also supports the withdrawal of $ARB to the Arbitrum chain, but a small amount of $ETH is also needed as a subsequent gas fee.

2. Select ETH, ARB or USDT (you need to hold this token first, if not, you need to swap first) — Select [On-chain] — Click [Next]

3. Fill in the address of the Arbitrum chain, select Arbiturm One for the network, and the amount of token.

Cross-chain

If you already have ETH assets on other networks, you can perform cross-chain operations. Here we take the Orbiter cross-chain bridge as an example to demonstrate.

First, we need to configure the wallet. You can use Chainlist to add a network with one click: https://chainlist.org/chain/42161 , or you can manually add the Arbitrum function to your wallet, which involves adding some simple network details to Metamask. The following is a detailed guide:

1. First, open Metamask and click on the Network dropdown.

2. Select [Add Network] in the drop-down menu

1. You will need to add the following details on the Add Network page that will open. Click [Save] when finished.

• Network Name: Arbitrum One
• New RPC URL: https://arb1.arbitrum.io/rpc
• Chain ID: 42161
• Currency Symbol: ETH
• Block Explorer URL: https://arbiscan.io/

You have now successfully added the Arbitrum network

Then please follow the guide for bridging:

1. Open the webpage and connect to the wallet: https://www.orbiter.finance/?source=Ethereum&dest=Arbitrum
2. Cross-chain ETH assets, so choose ETH in the Token
   After From, select the network in that you have assets, and enter the amount you want to cross-chain, for example, enter 1 for 1ETH. Select Arbitrum after [To]

3. After confirming, click Send

Swap

If you need to hold $USDT or $ARB on Arbitrum, but only have ETH, you need to swap on a decentralized exchange, or called DEX. Here we’ll show and guide you how to swap tokens into ARBITRUM in Uniswap using the Arbitrum chain.

1. Open UniSwap: https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap
2. Select the network Arbtrum in the upper right corner, and then connect the wallet

3. Select the two assets you need to exchange. Here we take ETH-USDT as an example, and enter the exchange amount. It should be noted that a little ETH is reserved as the gas fee.

1. First switch to the [Discovery] page, paste or enter the link to purchase nodes in the search box https://app.l2finance.org/l2pay. Click the pop-up window below: Go to Dapp … Jump to the node subscription page

2. Click [Connect] in the upper right corner to connect to the wallet
Click [Pay] below and the payment information will appear

3. Select Metamask, then connect wallet

4. After confirming the information, click [Confirm Payment], enter the payment password, and sign in to complete the purchase

If you do not have the Arbitrum network and assets, you can use the flash swap function to quickly cross-chain from other chains to the Arbitrum chain.

Click the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of the home page,

Select the Arbitrum network, select the wallet address that needs to be added to the network or add a new wallet.

This adds the network successfully.

Then click the [Swap] button to Swap pages,

Select the network and token that need to be sold and the obtained network and token,

Here you can choose according to your own situation after From, enter the exchange amount,

Here, select the USDT of the Arbitrum network after [To].

Finally, click [Approve USDT] [Confirm Payment] and enter the password signature to complete the exchange.

Exchange some ETH again as gas fee, if you already have $ETH you can ignore this step.

Transaction records and hashes can be viewed on the block explorer,

Switch to the Arbitrum network to see your assets.
