Every day, millions of data and information change hands through internet networks. Therefore, understanding cybersecurity, or digital security, is paramount, especially for beginners. This article will provide a detailed and guided introduction to the world of cybersecurity to build a solid understanding.

1. What is Cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, devices, and data from digital threats. These threats can include malware attacks, hacking, data theft, and various other malicious activities.

2. Common Cybersecurity Threats

a. Malware: Malicious software including viruses, worms, trojans, and ransomware.

b. Phishing: Attempts to obtain personal information by disguising it as a trustworthy entity.

c. Hacking: Unauthorized attempts to access data or systems.

d. Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attack: Attempts to make system resources inaccessible to legitimate users.

e. Identity Theft: Unauthorized use of someone else’s personal information.

3. Key Components in Cybersecurity

a. Firewall: Monitors and controls incoming and outgoing data traffic.

b. Antivirus and Antimalware: Protects systems from threats such as viruses and malware.

c. Encryption: The process of converting data into a format unreadable without the encryption key.

d. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Adds an extra layer of security by using more than one identity verification method.

4. Basic Principles of Cybersecurity

a. Principle of Least Privilege: Granting access rights only as needed.

b. Software Updates: Keeping devices and software up to date to address vulnerabilities.

c. User Awareness: Involving users to enhance security through training and understanding.

5. Starting a Career in Cybersecurity

a. Education and Training: Completing courses or degrees in cybersecurity.

b. Cybersecurity Certifications: Obtaining certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+. c. Internships and Personal Projects: Gaining practical experience by participating in security projects or internships.

6. Online Learning Resources

a. Online Learning Platforms: Platforms like Coursera, edX, and Udemy offer cybersecurity courses.

b. Forums and Communities: Joining online cybersecurity communities such as Stack Exchange or Reddit.

c. Remote Worker Indonesia: Provides cyber security training from basic to expert, and accompanied until you get your first job and so on. delicious isn’t it? You can have a free consultation before joining the WhatsApp group: click here.

7. Challenges and Opportunities in Cybersecurity

a. Challenges: The continuous evolution of technology requires advanced security measures.

b. Opportunities: The demand for cybersecurity experts is increasing, creating vast career opportunities.

With a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, beginners can help protect themselves, organizations, and society from the evolving threats in the digital world.

Case Study UIUX Design: Landing Page — Zettasoft Indonesia Agency

Hi everyone, how are you guys?

This time I want to share a story about why I created a landing page for a startup called Zettasoft. Okay.. just go ahead.

Background Stories

Initially, I received an offer from Feri Lukmansyah as the founder of Zettasoft to create a website in the form of a landing page for the technology business. Such as, Data Scraping, Website Development, Mobile Development and UIUX Designer as the contents of this Zetta business section.

I'm here in charge of UI/UX Design. OK, let's see the steps...

The first stage

I did user research using the design sprint method. to determine the journey and goals to be achieved

Second Stage

I poured the idea that was in my head by doing a rough drawing or called Wireframe/Lo-Fi Design.

Third phase

After making a rough outline. I then created a Design Style namely Text Style, Color Pattern and Button Style.

Fourth Stage

Next I made a separate UI Design to do a test called A/B Testing.

Last Stage

At the end is the UI Design stage, after doing A/B Testing. It has been determined which design to use in each part, starting from the Header, Service, Service Details.

Okay… I have finished the step-by-step description of the Landing Page design process for the Agency that I shared. Hopefully helpful, and thank you.

Site designer
Site designer is the main feature of Webflow.

With the site designer, you can choose to create your site from a completely blank canvas or start from an existing structure.

So, there is a choice of templates that you can set according to your needs.

In the Webflow library, there are 30 free templates and 100 premium templates that only paid users can access.

According to Satori Studio, it’s better to start with a blank canvas instead of a template for those who already have a little understanding of HTML and CSS.

This method also allows you to more quickly understand the tools in Webflow.

2. Content management system (CMS)
CMS Webflow allows you to create various types of content, such as blog posts and others.

Here, there are already many plugins that you can use, so there is no need to download additional plugins.

In fact, Webflow is considered more complete and flexible than CMS WordPress, Wix and Drupal.

From Webflow, you can freely manage blog content, add and edit pages, and much more effortlessly.

3. Web hosting
If the site’s appearance and content are ready, Webflow ensures that your site can be accessed with its hosting features.

With the deployment menu, you can release a site with a webflow.com subdomain or a custom domain if you pay.

Webflow hosting uses one of the largest cloud service providers in the world, namely Amazon Cloudfront and Fastly.

So, don’t worry about experiencing website crashes or other obstacles when your site has a lot of visitors.

In addition, Webflow already has a content delivery network that you can use at no additional cost.

With this content delivery network, your site can be accessed faster no matter where your site visitors are from.

Conclusion

No need to worry about security, because Webflow is equipped with secure sockets layer (SSL) which has modern security technology.

Well, that’s the summary of Webflow.

Are you interested in moving from Wordpress to webflow?

thank you so much, bye bye.

My example is like this:

book_count = 10
print(‘Mom say, “Read all your books” ‘)

Second, you create a variable number of books that have been read

number_of_books_read = 0
print(f’number of books read {number_of_books_read} ‘)

If so, it will look like this in the form of the order of the code:

After that you enter the core code yes it is looping with “while”. The code is like this:

while number_of_books_read < book_count:
number_of_books_read = number_of_books_read + 1
print(f”book to {number_of_books_read} already read. “)

Lastly, we add the result of the description “number of books read”.

print(f’number of books read {number_of_books_read} ‘)

If everything is written, then the result of the code arrangement will be like this:

Then we RUN in PowerShell or something similar.

If the result is as above then Congratulations! Now let’s get into the discussion of the “for” loop. What is a “for” loop? Let’s get started.

First, you create a “new file” with the name “For.py”

Then type the code like this:

book_count = 10

print(‘Mom said,”Read all your books”’)

You create the first variable and the contents of that variable.

Create a second variable:

number_of_books_that_already_read = 0

print(f’Number of books read {number_of_books_that_already_read} ’)

Then when the two variables have been written in order, the result is like this:

Next, we make a “for” loop. By writing like this:

for number_of_books_that_already_read in range(1, book_count + 1):

print(f”Books to {number_of_books_that_already_read} already read “)

Finally, we get the final result by writing:

print(f’Number of books read {number_of_books_that_already_read} ‘)

When we “Run” then we get the following result:

Note: In Python programs, the arithmetic calculations are given space for each calculation. For example “for number_of_books_that_already_read in range(1, book_count + 1)”.

And now you have completed the “for” loop tutorial. Thank you for reading. Look forward to the next tutorial. See you later.

More content at plainenglish.io

How to Write Basic Python Programs for Beginners was originally published in Python in Plain English on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.

This time we will enter the stage of learning programming using Python 3. If you are not familiar with “how to install Python 3 on Windows”. please read and see the steps on my article page.

Okay everyone, let’s start by learning about “Branching”.

First you have to be ready right:
- Properly installed (successful) Python.
- Visual Studio (VSC) or PyCharm code.
- Install Python Extension -> “Python” and “Pylance”.

Visual Studio Code

After installing the Extension. Immediately you create a new file with the name “Branching.py”. Like the example below:

Then fill it with Code which starts by passing the variable.

total_bottle_milk = 175

egg_number = 145

After that do:

print(f”amount of milk is {total_bottle_milk} bottles”)

print(f”number of eggs is {egg_number} eggs”)

Then you give a branch by writing:

if total_bottle_milk > 0:

print(“Budi checked the price, and found that he had enough money”)

if egg_number == 0:

print(“Buddy bought 1 bottle of milk”)

else:

print(“Buddy bought 6 bottles of milk”)

else:

print(“Budi doesn’t want to buy a milk bottle”)

Follow the Structure like the example below:

Then we write the last code:

print(“Buddy go home”)

print(“Send the result to Mother”)

Then put together your Coding make sure it becomes like this:

Then click Run. Then the Result:

command result.

Yeay … you have successfully created a simple project with a Python program. If you still have an error in your coding Code, then you have to see and research it again slowly.

Note that this is like a simple case Storyline, between Mother and Child. Which is where his son is a programmer who must be instructed in detail and regularly. Wkwk…

Okay guys, you’ve finished Part 1. You can continue with the next tutorial. see you guys…
