It’s always inspiring to hear about individuals taking steps to learn new skills and broaden their horizons. As a front-end developer, designing applications can be a challenging task, and it’s not uncommon to feel overwhelmed by the complexity of UI/UX design.

However, thanks to the excellent workshop on UI/UX design organized by TinkerHub CEC, individuals like me have the opportunity to develop and enhance our design skills. The workshop provides valuable insights and practical tips on user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and user testing, enabling participants to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.

First day !

It was all about UI and UX. The way a designer should think and how a design should be and rules like 60:30:10 ratio of color choices and color selections. Familiarizing the widgets and plugins provided by Figma and how to create a frame and create components.

Second Day!

The task to be completed by the end of the workshop was to create a design of an application to find job opportunities using Figma and the day was all about its first frame.

The third day was all about the rest of the frames

This was my final submission of the task.

After submitting the design, I felt a great sense of relief and satisfaction that I had finally achieved my goal. Thanks to TinkerHub CEC for providing an amazing workshop that was truly invaluable to me, I was able to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to create a successful design.
