            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/355/1*lqCmzPkSbAmEXv83Mu99yQ.jpeg" /></figure><p>“Nothing Last Forever” is what my friends keep saying.</p><p>I try to ignore the warning sign, trust you with the path we’re walking.</p><p>Until we ran out of gas.</p><p>Stuck at the intersection, where decision must be made.</p><p>Right or left, stay or leave.</p><p>Lost in thought, we’re stuck in the intersection.</p><p>“I’ll never leave” is what you said to me.</p><p>But then you went the other way whilst holding her hand.</p><p>Once was enough, I lowered my guard down.</p><p>Too low I didn’t see the third one coming.</p><p>I’d rather you said you were bored,</p><p>instead of finding me in someone else.</p><p>Stuck in your lies, I stare at the sign.</p><p>Why did I stay? Why did I love you this much?</p><p>You hurt me countless times, yet I only remember your kindness.</p><p>“Let’s break up” is the words i want to say.</p><p>Spent months to gather my courage, only for it to be left unspoken.</p><p>Happiness looks good on you; I don’t want to steal that from you.</p><p>Oh, how could I?
