Mintopoly Insider — The Simulator

February 2023

In the development Insider today, we’ll dig into the second generation of the Simulator, and how it will become our Lunar Blockchain. The first stage of the Mintopoly Simulator has served us well and it will remain a large part of the Mintoverse, but it is time for a little bit of a change. We are excited to give it a new purpose, with a direct effect on the outcome of the Mintopoly Moon!

The Lunar Blockchain

We did it guys! At this point we’ve established our lunar colony successfully, and have deployed a ton of bases, we’ve even fended off alien invasions! Things seem to be going well here on the moon, right? Unfortunately not!

A recent discovery by the MLR (Mintopoly Lunar Researchers) has forced the research team to work hard to come up with a solution. They found some “irregularities” in the resource calculations, oh my! They have not only miscalculated the available supply of resources, but we have all been harvesting them too quickly! This means that if we don’t act fast, we will begin running out of resources very soon!

Thankfully, the MLR discovered that they can use recently-found “moon crystals” to power a new invention… After tirelessly performing tests, they perfected a prototype that they believe will make harvesting more than 2x as efficient! Not only will this resolve our resource problem, but it will generate even more resources than we calculated before! This new harvest engine is what they are calling the Lunar Blockchain.

During their final testing of this blockchain prototype, two main discoveries were made. Firstly, the blockchain was super power hungry and requires tons of moon crystals in order for it to stay running at peak performance. In addition, the longer they went between refilling the crystal storage, the more the efficiency started waning. It seems to be depleted in about a week!

The MLR has put out a colony-wide collection campaign and is asking for assistance in powering this blockchain to keep base production in tip-top shape. They’ve put together a special fund in order to provide rewards for those who earn and contribute moon crystals. The more crystals you can collect and contribute in the Lunar Blockchain game, the greater your share of the reward! Their only recommendation is that we work fast! They estimate that for every day that goes by without refilling the crystals, we lose 15% in harvest yield!

Simulator 2.0 — What To Expect

What does this mean for the Mintoverse? For the most part, the simulator (aka the Lunar Blockchain) will remain largely unchanged. You will continue to play as you do now, and build your wealth in order to collect crystals which you will then donate toward the cause.

Some of the changes will include:

No End Blocks — The campaigns (rounds) will continue onward until the collection goal has been met, it won’t have an ending block any longer! The end of the campaign will entirely depend on how quickly the simulators can work together to complete the collection request. We’re not fully sure just how long it will last, it could be 20k blocks, or maybe it runs until 50k? We anticipate that it could have quite a varied range!

Start Times — We need to keep the blockchain supplied with crystals as quickly and as often as possible, otherwise the production rates will begin to suffer. Since we don’t know when the campaign will end, we can’t provide dedicated starting times. The next campaign will be automatically generated to begin 24hrs from the time the previous campaign goal is reached.

Airdrop Rewards — The $MM airdrops will continue at a similar rate but payouts per user will be re-calculated based on how much you contribute toward the total. The larger your percentage of the donations, the larger your token airdrop will become. (limitations apply)

Production Rates — Due to the new harvest engines being implemented in our bases, we’ll now be seeing an increase of approx. double what our bases previously generated. It does have a big downside though, as it loses efficiency rather quickly. Every day that goes by with the goal not yet met will see a drop of around 15%.

Additional Rewards — We’ve had a year and a half of fantastic rounds and have given out more than 300 NFTs in rewards! While we are retiring the Moontopolist and side competition rewards at this time,
we will continue to provide numerous opportunities to earn prizes through the re-imagined blockchain game and more. We’ll have more on what this looks like very soon.

Round 80 Finale — Round 80 will be the last of the original rounds of the Simulator! To honor the end of the first generation, we’ll be having a larger round with additional prizes to go out with a bang!

Q1 Progress

So far in Q1, we’ve completed the account system unifications, making it possible to play both the sim and moon using the same accounts. Furthermore, deploying a whole new account page showcasing more of your data all in one location. We’re about to release a website refresh, which highlights the new changes in the Simulator and provides a new look to closer match the lunar theme. The Simulator Gen 2 is being released very nearly and with it, a new Dark Web attack!

As we close out the rest of Q1, we’ll take a bit of time to watch how the new blockchain simulator plays out, make balancing adjustments to it and the moon, as well as begin work on implementing the Mintobot on the moon. Finally, we’ll finish up by looking at how many cards have been minted in each tier and releasing a new set or two which will be added to the Vending Machine, in order to balance out supply of each category. Stay tuned, more on all of this when we get closer!

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Mintopoly Insider — The Mintoverse

January 2023

This first Insider of the year we’ll be scratching the surface of the development plan we made for the course of 2023! We have a lot planned and today, we’ll begin to take a closer look at this future. But first, let’s start off with a brief glance back at where we’ve come from, what we’re working on right now, and then jump into our planned future of the Mintoverse!

Where It All Began

The Simulator:
Back when the project of Mintopoly began, it was just the simulator, containing only a portion of what it does today. This blockchain simulator was seen as a tool to kickstart the ecosystem. A unique way to distribute tokens, to give a utility to some NFTs, and provide a way for the player base to have a direct impact on their progress within the world of Mintopoly. While the project grew, it continued to be developed, consistently improved, and over time more has been added to it.

Planning Ahead:
While development had been ongoing with the project, it had always been in the back of our minds that this is not the complete vision of the Mintopoly ecosystem. Even though the details of it were not ironed out just yet, it was clear that the next step would become the base to which everything would be centered around. The vision of where we needed to go had eventually been realized, the plans laid out, and the development begun on the central hub of the Mintopoly Universe, the moon!

The Moon:
Mintopoly’s moon was now ready and was launched just around the time of the last rounds in the Mintopolist era. It was an exciting new stage of the world, and it opened the door to endless opportunities! These first six or so months of the moon have certainly been interesting, and like the simulator, has had changes and additions throughout. It’s been good though, we’ve been digging into and setting a proper foundation of what the rest of the Mintopoly Universe (the Mintoverse) will revolve around.

Where We’re At — Creating a Unified Ecosystem

Due to the nature of the simulator, and also what we plan to do with the moon, it made the most sense to operate them as two separate projects. The moon was built apart from the simulator for this reason, so as to keep them from causing conflicts with one another. This works great as an operational standpoint but it is largely lacking in terms of making it feel like they are one united ecosystem, working together.

Our immediate goal has been to work toward tying the projects together, to increase interoperability and add reliance upon one another. They are still separated, but are going to be connected by a single Mintoverse account, and we’re working towards cross-resource utilization, and so forth. To accomplish this both the moon and sim will be seeing changes in the near future that will create a direct need for each other in order to thrive. Additionally, changes to the front-end / user experience are being implemented to flow smoother from one section of the Mintoverse to another without having to “break out” of the ecosystem to make your way to that other area.

Where We’re Going

Onto the fun stuff! We have created an outline to share a visual overview of what we’re going to be aiming to accomplish this year. Even though this is the plan for development in 2023, it is simply a loose guideline and we will likely end up making adjustments or modifications along the way. Take a look below at the plan for 2023!

2023’s Development Plan

Q1 2023:

Here in the first quarter of the year, most of the development is foundational groundwork, which is already well underway! If I had to estimate the progress, we’re currently halfway done with the new account system, and work on a fresh new account page is just about to begin. At the same time, both the simulator AND the website are receiving massive styling changes to further align them with the moon being the center of the Mintoverse.

The simulator will always hold a special place in the heart of Mintopoly, and will always play a part in the Mintoverse. However, as we expand and shift toward the next chapter of the project, it will no longer be the primary focus. It has served its purpose well, and will continue to do so, as the unique way for token distribution, reward opportunities, card utility and so forth. That said, out plan is to repurpose the simulator to better align with the moon, and be less of a standalone relic.

The current idea (subject to change) is that we will be working together in the Mintoverse Blockchain Simulator to generate enough energy to power the moon. It will continue to be competitive in nature and rewards given to players for performing better and contributing more than others. As well as the potential for various other rewards along the way. It will be a group effort and we’ll need to contribute as a team in order for the moon to survive! The reward system and structure that we have in place now will also be seeing a big change to align with this new purpose.

All of this will take up a large part of Q1, but we also want to try and focus on a few other areas like the current balance of the cards minted. Right now there is an uneven count of cards having been minted in each category. Like for example, overall there are fewer Mining Rig cards in existence than there are Dapp cards. We’ll be taking a close look at the total minted within each category. Using those numbers we’ll create a better and more even spread across the board. We’ll mint another set of cards taking that distribution in account so that it is pretty much equal numbers in each card category.

Speaking of cards, the MM Mintobot will be receiving its long waited Lunar Utility in the near future. Most likely it will help us with our base restocking, so that we don’t have to stay on top of keeping them ready for harvesting.

Insider Rewards:

I think that’s enough rambling for right now, we’ll spend time digging into the other quarter’s plans in the upcoming Insiders! BUT, we’ll leave you with an Insider only event! Anyone who ends this round (#75) with the number ‘75’ in their stats in some manner will get an extra bit of MM sent their way, try and include is as much as possible! It can be anything from ensuring it’s in your net worth or active fork (10,753,275) to the number of investments you have (875 rigs, 675 nodes, 575 oracles). Be creative and have fun with it! Post a screenshot after the round ends in #event-submissions in order to qualify for the prize! Keep it a secret though, so that it stays with us Insiders! ;)

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Mintopoly Insider — Winter Tournament

December 2022

In this December Insider, we talk about all of the unglamorous things that are going on behind the scenes! Including details on the future new Account setup and various Admin changes. Finally, the details surrounding the Winter Tournament are here!

A Quick Recap

Those darned aliens! They just couldn’t leave well enough alone, could they?! Too bad, they were WEAK, HA! We sure showed them, despite them coming back with help. Because of this, we were able to confiscate some of their technology and reverse engineer it to bolster our base’s production rates! We should hopefully see that kick in soon and just in time too, as this month’s challenge is to harvest a bunch. Look for the shield symbol (🛡️) on bases indicating if they are being boosted!

In other news, our new ranking system on Discord is in full swing! This new program provides tokens and rewards for posting regularly and being active members of the community. The first round of rewards has been sent out, back-paying you loyal long-time community members! We sent out a total of 114,500 $MM and 600 Encryption Keys in this first go as we caught up with the rewards for everyone. This is a great opportunity to be able to earn some $MM and Keys for continuing to be engaged and for supporting other players in the community.

Lastly, we’re wrapping up November’s Shrine minting giveaway — we ran all 36 entries and SAMOVA was declared the winner! Watch Here!

Current Development

Simulator Update:
As we hinted at previously, a new Dark Web feature is coming soon! An Invisibility of sorts, to remove your name from the explorer for a limited time. This will allow you to be sneaky and your actions will remain hidden as you fork, or maybe you don’t actually fork!? Use it to throw people off! Muahahahaa! 😁

Mintoverse Update:
As we continue working on aspects of the Mintoverse, one of our primary visions is to better integrate the simulator and moon projects. The first major step is to merge their account systems into one unified Mintoverse account. We’ll also take that opportunity to create a singular, refined account page that has everything all in one place! This is good because we have future additions we’d like to add, and we need something solid in place before we can implement them. (Custom Avatars, I’m looking at you! 👀)

Furthermore, we have a number of background admin tools that make our job easier, but because of the time spent elsewhere developing this or that, these tools have started to begin lacking the capabilities we need. There is a list of things that we would love to incorporate, and so we’re about to begin that process. We want to bring these up to date before we push on ahead further in other areas so that we don’t fall too far behind. As it is right now, a bunch of things are having to be done manually and we can automate these further, allowing us to spend more time in the areas that matter most — adding more content!

Another feature that is being revamped is the login system that ties your eth-address to your profile. We’ve begun digging into new methods that will open the door to potentially launching the game as a mobile app on the respective app stores. As well as make it so that you don’t need to use a wallet browser to play the game!

All of these and more, are features that aren’t all that noticeable or flashy. They could easily go unnoticed and most of them don’t provide much in the way of gameplay additions, yet they are super important to tackle for the longevity and foundation of the project. These will help make our lives easier and provide a smoother and better overall experience by laying the groundwork to be able to include other additions more readily to the Mintoverse.

Moon Update:
We know, we know! Your shiny Mintobot card doesn’t yet have a job on the moon! We are working on this, but it will likely happen after we’ve accomplished most of the account restructuring.

Something else that you guys brought to our attention is that the harvesting bases on the moon currently demands steady, hourly visits. That was not meant to be the idea, so we are implementing your new “Energy Bar” suggestion.

With this change, each player will have their own energy bars, containing 3–5 jolts of energy. Each harvest will consume 1 of these segments and reduce your bar by that much, meaning you can harvest multiple bases in one go! The bar will refill by 1 unit approximately once per hour.

That means every 3–5 hours you can check back in to harvest again and still take home the same amount of resources as if you were here every hour harvesting. Perhaps we even make an account-level upgrade to increase this energy bar’s storage capacity? The moon's atmosphere is the limit… 😏

Speaking of skies, M.O.R.A.D. (Mintopoly Aerospace Defense Command) was tracking Santa’s pre-Christmas test flights and witnessed something strange! All we know is that the reports said: “Santa flew off into space! Is he headed to the moon?” 🎅

Winter Tournament

After hearing your feedback, we agree that it was best to push the start of this back, until after the crazy holiday season comes to a wrap. So, we’ve rescheduled the Winter Tournament to begin on January 6! Beginning next week and running up until the start of the tournament, we will provide opportunities for you to earn a handful of various prizes by participating in some extra activities.

Here’s how the tournament scoring will work:
Players will receive points in multiple ways during this event, and the player with the most points at the end will be crowned as the Mintopoly Champion and will be the winner of a Founder’s Edition NFT! This player will hold the title of Champion via a Discord role until they can be overthrown in the following tournament. We will of course also have runner-up prizes and a few random drawings as well — complete details on the reward structure will be released in the weeks to come.

The primary method of receiving points will be by your ranking within each round. We will begin with 50 points for coming in first place, with each subsequent rank losing 1 point for each placement lower they end up. The tenth-place person would receive 40 points, and so on until we get to the person in 40th place. Players ranking between 40th — 100th places will earn 10 points each and anyone ranking lower than this will not earn any points.

The secondary method of receiving points will be from designated side challenges (not to be confused with the side competitions that will be run as normal throughout the tournament). Each of these side challenges, such as Highest Fork Percentage and so on, will have a top 3 each round which will award 30–20–10 points respectively, which will be in addition to the rank placement points of the round. You’ll need to make sure to plan wisely! 😉

Since this is a new and uncharted territory, changes will inevitably need to be made along the way, and therefore we need to remain flexible as we adjust and figure out the best way to operate this. Future tournaments will adopt the learned best practices and we will make refinements to ensure that it becomes the best it can be! We look forward to seeing you all compete, perhaps we will be seeing some OG players come out of retirement to show the new kids on the block how it’s done too?!

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Mintopoly Insider — Lunar Chronicles The Final Chapter

November 2022

Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild ride! Today is the day we release the final chapter of the mini Lunar Chronicles story series. We also touch on a crazy new development coming soon, Mintopoly Tournaments! Furthermore, a new Collaboration partner?

Current Development

Moon Update:
So here is where we’re at with the Moon currently — we’ve been hard at work on a top-secret New Special Event! 👀 Coming SOON! Work has also begun on the Mintobot’s Moon utility, all I can say is gone are the days of restocking bases! (well… somewhat anyway…)

Simulator Update:
Is that another new Dark Web feature sitting out on the horizon? A snap! It vanished?! 👻 Wonder what that was all about… I guess we’ll have to check back later for more info on this!

In other news, the Staking Bypass is receiving a small change, it is going to have a price increase to discourage repetitive/continual back-to-back uses. We want to see how it will perform without being limited but we may need to end up putting a max number of uses on it. We’re keeping an eye on it!

Community Game Night:
These Community Game nights are a nice time to chill and do something together that is different. However, for the time being anyway, they are going to need to be put on hold…

Firstly, they have not been operating as I had envisioned and I really want to work on something better for this time rather than grabbing a random game to play for an hour or two. If anyone has ideas, feel free to share them!

Not only that, but it is approaching the busiest time of the year and I cannot confirm that I will have the time available to dedicate to making these happen right now. That said, if someone wants to step up and be the Community Game Coordinator I will gladly lend support and help you fulfill that role!

Discord Level Rewards:
On another note —we just enabled Mee6’s leveling system within our Discord server. You can now obtain ranks within the server by remaining active and participating in various discussions, we will not condone spamming! The purpose of this is to help incentivize additional interaction among the community, therefore we will include some in-game rewards for making it to certain milestone ranks (these are still being discussed and will be pinned in the #🔼-level-ups channel when finalized).

This new channel is where we encourage you to use the `/rank` or `/levels` commands in order to track your progress! We will look through the channel once a week/every other week and compile a list of players who hit these milestones and send the rewards your way!

Chess Universe — Collaboration

Just this week we were approached by a Community Manager from Chess Universe, about a cross-promotion, collaboration opportunity. We like what they are doing over there and think it would be a great opportunity to branch out a little for both of our communities! We have agreed to work together on this and see where it takes us! Here’s what they have to say:

Chess Universe is a free-to-play chess mobile app soon going toward play-to-earn! The app was built to make the chess experience fun, rewarding, intuitive, not to mention learning-oriented! Chess Universe is for the casual chess player and for advanced players to compete and rise through the leaderboards!

Through the integration of blockchain and P2E mechanics, the game will offer a broad range of opportunities for players such as: Earning in-game tokens, Receiving real monetary rewards for time invested, and Creating NFTs to trade them as a part of a virtual economy $CRYS

Chess Universe P2E phase starts with the Guardians NFT Drop happening on Nov 30th! Gen0 Guardians are unique and the ONLY ONES with 100% success rates for Gen1 Breeding!

About Chess Universe:
· Over 5 million downloads and 120k active players F2P
· Doxxed team
· Polygon Partnership
· Tilting Point partnership — a mobile game publisher over the past 10 years
· Discord: https://discord.gg/PYHMNnq8QG
· Twitter: https://twitter.com/chess_universe
· Whitepaper: https://whitepaper.chess-universe.io/

They are giving away 10 Whitelist spots to Mintopoly members!
This gives you early access to secure your mint before it reaches the general public.

To participate in this giveaway, follow all the details found in this Tweet!

Winter Tournament

Mark your calendars! (Or just simply check the Mintopoly Calendar in the links below…) We are about to hold our very first Mintopoly Tournament! With a FOUNDERS card being given to the player who ranks #1 overall! Along with runner-up prizes and various side challenges for alternative options! 😱

Here’s the plan, which is still subject to change - round 69 which begins on December 2nd will be the first round of this Tournament. We will be tracking the progress over 4 regular rounds (nothing crazy, all similar to each other round to round in both numbers and events, the same for the most part) and it will run through the 72nd round that ends a little after Christmas, but before the new year. We’ll probably also take a week off following that.

The complete tournament details will be announced ahead of time and discussed further in the December 1st Insider, the day before it begins! Depending on how well this ends up running, we may begin holding Seasonal Tournaments that span a month (4–5 rounds) and begin once every quarter. A Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall tournament. Although, we will likely not be giving out a Founders card every time. 😜 Maybe every other? We’ll see! LOL.

Some of the side challenges might include:
Cumulatively the highest fork percentage, Most side comps won, etc, etc. Have some fun things you want to see tracked? Let’s hear them!

Lunar Chronicles — The Final Chapter

Now, this is a story all about how our bases got flipped-turned upside down, and I’d like to take a minute to just sit right here and tell you about how that reactor core ended up all the way over there!

It was a relatively average day among the lunar colony, despite still being under an Alert Level 1, for well over a month now too. The colony has been on the lookout and have made all the fortifications they could think of. Even though Alert Level 1 is the lowest of the 3 statuses that they could have initiated, it still meant that something was wrong, and there was a constant tension and unease in the air. The usual jovial mood has since vanished and replaced with a busy hustle and bustling around from one sector to another. The curfew and lockdown drills certainly weren’t helping the matter.

Most of the colonists have simply grown used to the routine of it all, but a bunch have gotten tired of it. There began to be more unrest and a level of dissent has certainly begun to grow, to the point where a few extremists had to be detained after they tried to begin a revolt. The word on the street was that the Lunar Council was just buying time at this point, since they themselves didn’t even know what was going on. Ever since Mr. M’s disappearance act, no one has seen him since. Among all the gossip, there stood out a common thread between them though, that Mr. Mintopoly ended up losing it and running off into the forbidden zone, the dark side of the moon!

The day crept along, and all the colony workers had long since reported to their respective duties within the many resource facilities. Even Neil managed to make it in to his post today, and didn’t just call out sick, again. The Moon Brick masons were in the middle of a shift change, with many of them shuffling through the narrow corridor which led from their storage structure on into the main production complex. This was the central hub of the east sector, where the mess hall, break rooms, fitness gym, indoor pool, and tons of other community facilities were located. It was just as the line started forming around the kitchen to grab some of the rehydrated potatoes and moon pies being passed out that a massive wave came blasting through the campus, so strong that it ripped moon pies out of their hands, and cause many of the colony workers to be knocked over and others to stumble backward.

The alarms blared and strobe warning lights flashed ominously. The emergency power had kicked in, you could hear machines and a handful of vital systems coming back online, after everything abruptly when down. Everyone was dazed, stunned by what had just transpired, many suffered minor injuries, nothing life-threatening however. It took a second, but a few moments later, chaos began to ensue with people running every which direction. Some trying to get the heck out of there, with others helping up the fallen production crew that came in still wearing their space suits. It was near impossible to get back up after falling over with all the gear and the suits they had to wear. Just then the emergency health sensors joined the chorus of alarms, resounding above all the others, which meant that oxygen was running low! The blast must have ruptured one of the air lines or caused a breach in the facility’s multiple viewports.

It was all hands-on deck, everyone knew what to do, they had trained for these emergencies and multiple crews sprang into action, working as a well-oiled machine. Some made themselves busy checking all the various fittings of the oxygen system, while others scanned the complex seams and each of the windows, the rest performing first aid to the injured personnel. H.R. was about to be up to their eyeballs in worker’s comp paperwork… Someone shouted, OVER HERE! Finding a crack in the window, a porthole sized opening with a thick, rounded glass pane, he began pulling duct tape out of his bag. Out of the corner of his eye he saw something truly terrifying, it unsettled him to the core, he looked out the window and what he saw paralyzed him with fright.

Another guy noticed, starting off toward his direction, shouting all the while “What is wrong with you?! Get that viewport patched NOW!” When he got closer, he saw what the other was gaping at, and instantly knew they were in trouble. In full on sprint, he dashed to the control center of the complex, shoving people out of his way as he bounded down the passageways and kicking open the doors to the command center. Shouting “We’re under attack!” Pointing frantically out the only viewport on the west side of the room. Everyone jumped out of their seats gathering around the small window, which would normally have been a comical scene in other circumstances, with everyone piled on one another to get a glimpse at what was outside.

Sure enough, it was the largest ship they had ever laid eyes on, it had to be 10 football fields across! It had a sickly green light spreading down from the center of it too, which the light must have been nearly a field in width itself. It appeared as if a dozen smaller vehicles of some form were making their way down and out of the larger ship through that intense beam of light and began landing all around the shorelines, the edges of the colony’s established territory.

They all continued to watch for a number of reasons — sheer amazement, definitely fear, as well as a bit of curiosity. They witnessed thousands upon thousands, of what appeared to be soldiers in odd shaped space suits, emerge from the smaller vessels. Their numbers seemed to never end and when they thought all had disembarked, another ship came down and let more out, followed by returning to the larger spacecraft that was floating above. Murmuring amongst themselves they slowly began to realize that these weren’t humans, they were in fact ALIENS!

Scrambling back to their seats, tripping all over one another along the way, they picked up their various communications systems and began talking simultaneously in a loud ruckus of frantic alerts! One of them could be picked out as raising the emergency status of their eastern facility to Alert Level 3, another talking with the Lunar Council for direction, while the others were all reaching out to the neighboring facilities. The news spread rapidly, and within 20 minutes the entire colony had mobilized, armed themselves, and began forming ranks surrounding the various facilities spread across the sectors. The alien army advanced, charging through the production facilities, ransacking everything, taking anything they though held value. They had not yet reached the colony, but it would not be long until they closed the gap, they were coming in fast!

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Shhhh, don’t let anyone know about this covert operation we’re running here! In today’s release, we’re mostly providing a recap of all the crazy that just transpired and what our next goals are going to be.

Time for a Recap

WOW! What just happened?! So much just took place, where do I even start?! I guess let’s begin with the Halloween Drama?

Halloween Craziness:
In case you somehow missed it… we just had an intense Week of Madness leading up to Halloween! Over that span we had a ton of events, crazy prizes, and an awesome AMA session with both Andrews.. LOL. The prize list is insane! We’re giving out: 6 NFTs, 4 Moon Bases, 40k MM, 220 Encryption Keys, and 16k Moon Resources! Congrats again to all the winners and thank you for participating!

Vending Machine Sale:
Geez, guys! We expected a handful extra sales, we definitely did no expect to see nearly 100 cards sold in a week! That’s wild! It seems the 25% OFF sale was a hit then, eh? As we hit other major milestones or special circumstances allow, we’ll try to offer more of these over time. As part of our sale, we are giving out 3 extra random cards to some of the purchasers! Make sure to check in our Discord announcements to see if you are one of those lucky winners!

Lunar Airdrop:
We have just a week left to get any final entries into our Moon’s monthly airdrop! Make sure to head over to the LaunchPad to contribute the resources needed to get in on the MM being dropped and help the MLR crew with the recent Mission. I heard there was something bad incoming?!

So much has gone on and we can’t detail everything, but we hope that you enjoyed the goings-on and we look forward to having more opportunities like this in the future for you to earn some extras through various events and more.

Balancing Changes

The biggest change we are looking at making soon is the change to the Dark Web’s Staking Bypass. We’ll be working on this in the coming days and will hopefully have the update out to you soon.

Do you have any areas that you would like us to take a look at and possibly address? If so, please make sure to get in touch with us and we’ll most definitely keep an eye on it!

Introducing the Mintobot

The long awaited auto-staking ability is finally here! Fresh on the scene is the Mintobot, a helpful robot that will be a crucial element for automating many of the various tasks across the Mintoverse.

Over the past month or two, label. has been hard at work building, testing and getting this new addition ready to roll, and we’re super excited to share with you it’s release! At the moment, it will only be adding the auto-staking feature to the Simulator, but in the coming weeks we will have Moon automations coming as well!

To get yours, we’ve created a simple marketplace where you can directly buy the Polygon Based NFT using your MM tokens! Head on over to: https://mmcards.mintopoly.io/nft/robot to purchase yours before they are all gone! We are creating a cap of 500 of these at 32,500 $MM each — once they are sold out, that’s it!

This next round being 71,000 blocks long sure seems like a great opportunity to see this awesome card truly shine! You will definitely want to snag yours before that round begins this Friday!

Current Development

Mintoverse Roadmap:
Now that the current largest item on the agenda is marked off, we’re going to work on a more concrete Roadmap to provide you in the near future, detailing what we see the Mintoverse becoming, some of the features we hope to include and how we plan to get there!

As we’ve mentioned a few times previously, the Mintopoly Moon has been a great success and we want to continue to develop it further, which includes making the shift toward it being the center of the Mintoverse. This means that you will interact with the Moon as the Dashboard, the central hub, where you can then access all the Mintoverse’ related elements, the Simulator, Launchpad, Gambling Hall, to name a few… Stay tuned, we’ll hopefully be presenting this before the new year to provide you with a fresh long term vision of this project.

Moon Features:
Over the course of the last month or so, we’ve been hard at work on Simulator based things, so we’d like to step back for a moment and focus a little more on the moon side, more on this later! ;)

One of the other development items on the immediate future is to ensure that we provide the Moon with a use for the Mintobot. We’ve not fully worked out how we want to do this just yet, but the current plan is to use it to help with a little bit of auto-refills.

Do you have any ideas, suggestions on ways you’d like to see this card utilized? We’d love to hear about various other options we can incorporate.

Community Engagement

To wrap up this installment of the Mintopoly Insider, we would like to share with you some of the most popular and top voted Questions and corresponding Answers that were discussed in our AMA on the 31st! Thank you all for coming out and being part of that, it was fun and a great way to share bits of what we are thinking about for future development, as well as help clear up some areas that you may have been left wondering.

Q — Is there going to be opportunities in the future to acquire founders cards other than the vending machine?
A- Most likely, perhaps an in-game method that is incredibly difficult and or a special event perhaps once a year.

Q — Is Mars coming after the moon? If not, what is?
A- Not at the moment, the moon will be the central hub of the Mintoverse, we really want to work and expand on that first and foremost, but we won’t close the door to potential possibilities in the way distant future.

Q — When might base enhancements be introduced?
A- When we are closer to 2500–3500 bases minted, the primary goal is to have these filled out more-so, before introducing large upgrade costs to the ecosystem.

Q —What are your thoughts on this crypto winter and what that might mean for Mintopoly?
A- We think Mintopoly has weathered the Blizzard well so far. But we’ll keep an eye on it for sure. If anything, the reduction in ETH prices makes it a lower barrier to entry for card purchases than previously.

Q — Is it possible to have a card market in Polygon?
A- We cannot move the ETH cards to Polygon because of the contract. And we don’t plan on redoing another contract in order to move them. Currently the Moon bases and the MM purchasable cards are both on Polygon.

Q — When coin listing? When promotion or advertising? When more people come? What’s the feature of Mintopoly? When new people comes?
A- The coin is not going to be listed on a Major exchange. The difficulty, cost, time, and resources needed to do so along with the upkeep is beyond this project. We would also like to leave it more in the player’s hands rather than our own. So the current player run DEX is a better fit for the Economy of the game.
Promotions/Advertisements don’t work if they are done for the purpose of quick number increases, we need/want people to join organically and because they want to be here, not because they see a quick profit which is what an advertisement will encourage. So we will look into further ways to promote player to player growth via increased rewards for referrals or other methods.

~ If you’d like to be directly notified when we post new Insiders (and get them before everyone else!), make sure to follow us here on Medium and hit the subscribe option. ~

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Where we provide a closer look at the development of all aspects of the Mintoverse. We have a lot to talk about in this segment so strap in tight, there are some awesome things in store for you today!

Let’s Recap!

The past couple of weeks feel like a huge blur! Where has all that time gone? Here are some of the more notable highlights since the last Insider:

Lunar MLR Challenge:
We’ve successfully reached the goal requested of us by the MLR crew, contributing toward their cause, in order to be able to call in the best in class. Now that they have the funding they need, they have what is required to afford the help of Mr. Mintopoly himself, the world (or rather moon…) renowned research specialist. More on this in a bit!

EtherFishing Collaboration Celebration:
It is pretty cool of our partners over at E.F. to invite us to participate in their game anniversary events. And to celebrate the projects coming together we made an EtherFishing Collaboration card. A limited edition card you can purchase to support BOTH of our projects, but also get the upper hand with a Mintipolist-styled boost to all investments. Although it shares the same boost type, it is not to be treated as another Mintopolist card and holds none of the same benefits as the most legendary card on the block.

Dark Web Staking Boost:
It’s funny, I’ve been playing this game for nearly 60 rounds and just this round, for the first time ever, missed the start of the round and opened the app to kick the game off by staking everything out of habit… I can’t believe I did that! Before recently, that would have been it! I’d have to sit around for 500 blocks waiting to un-stake and then finally start playing the game. NOT ANYMORE! Thanks to the new Dark Web addition (with the last 3 keys I had left at that..) I was able to purchase the Staking Bypass and pull the funds and get back into the game right away! Such a relief…

First Community Game Night:
This past Sunday evening we held our first Mintopoly Game Night. We gave out a crazy 90k MM to the participants as both rewards for winning and also coming out to play. It was nice to be able to get together and just chill, have a little fun, chat, and play other games besides Mintopoly — blasphemy I know… We really would love to have you come join us! Make sure to check the calendar for start times.

Balancing Changes:

In this last update, we did not have anything specific to change, however, with the addition of the Staking Bypass, we’ve quickly learned that there are a few tweaks that need to be made. As it stands now, the feature is currently open to unlimited uses and this encourages those in tight competition to find themselves in a vicious cycle of purchasing the new feature constantly in order to stay/get ahead of their closest opponents.

While that is an ability of this feature, we certainly want to ensure that it does not become abused in this manner and feel like you MUST buy it over and over for you to be successful. We will continue to watch how it plays out, but we will be changing it in the near future to address these concerns by making it no longer an unlimited-use tool.

What Have We Been Up To?

MM purchasable NFTs:
Over many previous Insiders, we’ve dropped hints that the MM NFTs are coming soon! And you will have to wait just a little bit longer! 😆LOL!

Okay, in all seriousness, these have been in the works for a bit now and the first card is nearly complete! The way we have these planned to work (subject to change) is that there will be 4 MM NFTs in new card slots with a total supply of 1000 MAX of each type. They will perform a new and unique function that is totally different than the traditional cards!

We will release them one at a time as they have been developed, tested, and are ready to rock and roll. The first of which is your friendly, helper robot! This guy will help perform actions on your behalf such as auto-staking, base refills, and possibly more! We aren’t ready to share all the details just yet, but we’re super excited about the new possibilities this opens up.

The next card on the list is likely to be more of an access pass. You may or may not need it in order to gain entrance to some new things that are yet to come! ;)

Mintoverse Roadmap:
To touch on the roadmap briefly, we’ve not put anything together in an official manner just yet, but the process has been started. One of the things we want to share is the overarching premise we have that surrounds the roadmap and how we see the game progressing into the future.

The Mintopoly Simulator has been a great tool to get us all together, playing a game we all enjoy, but it is not the end of the Mintoverse. We see the Mintopoly ecosystem in a much larger scope where the Simulator lands inside as one of many pieces. The Moon has been the foundation of this shift and we will continue forward with it being considered as the central hub, the dashboard, of the Mintoverse! Over the coming weeks, you may begin seeing the start of these changes, and we will certainly discuss it more as time goes on.

The Simulator will remain a part of the Mintoverse, but it will end up being a smaller part of the whole and will incur its own changes/shifts from what it is now, into what we envision it becoming.

Halloween Event Madness:
To have some fun with Halloween coming up, we will have 7 days of Madness! Starting October 24th and finishing up on the 31st, we will have both daily and a couple of week-long events where you will have the chance to win so many different prizes! All of these games and challenges will be posted in our discord server under the Events channel!

Expect a little bit of everything! From riddles to ciphers to scavenger hunts, with Twitter raids, Discord games, and more! Starting today and leading up to this week of Madness, we will have a handful of themed extras along the way! Check our Twitter later today for the first of these! ;)

Wrapping up.

As we finish out this already hectic month, we will work to release the first MM NFT as well as begin the work toward shifting from a Simulator-centered Mintopoly, to a Moon-based Mintoverse. This will include various styling changes along with backend work to support this evolving direction.

Mintopoly Insider Schedule:
Due to the sporadic nature of the development of the Mintoverse, some things are a lot quicker and easier while others take way longer. It is often hard to quantify the time requirement necessary for completing agenda items.

Because of this, we’d like to make a slight change to the schedule of this series and not commit to two Insiders a month. Instead, we’d like to guarantee one large and important release per month with a mid-month update as needed. We could possibly not need the update, or it could be nice and short, but it could also be a full-length Insider. It all depends on what’s going on, how quickly things progress, and if there is anything pertinent to address that we’d rather not wait weeks in discussing.

The first of the month will be the planned Insiders, with the mid-month update “aimed” for the 15th like it is now, but it could fall on any day in that vicinity.

Vending Machine 25% Off:
As a last note, since we’re just about to hit a milestone of 1000 Moon bases being minted, we’d like to give back in a small way. To help you get some cards to stake to those bases we’re running our first-ever Vending Machine 25% off sale! This will begin once we’ve crossed that 1k threshold and we’ll make sure to notify you when it goes live! It will last just 1 week, so make sure to get them cheap while you can! And to sweeten it even further, for every 12 cards purchased, we will draw 1 additional card to be sent out at random to one of you lucky individuals who makes a purchase on the V.M. during this sale!

Lunar Challenge Commencing Shortly!

During this last Lunar Airdrop cycle, there were just shy of 300 contributions made, totaling over 590k culture being raised to support the MLR crew. Here’s a small story to further the narrative of the MLR crew:

Applause erupted throughout the MLR (Mintopoly Lunar Research) facility as lines formed on either side of the main path leading into lab room 3. Walking with the authority one would expect from a celebrity, and probably more notibly the top research agent around, Mr. Mintopoly strode down the walkway. Mr. M. as he was often called, smiled slightly and gave a short wave as he passed the audience who had congregated to greet him upon arrival. The MLR team, with the support of the Lunar Colony, had contracted him for his renounded excellence and experience in the field. His assignment was to come and assist them in determining what in the Moon the glowing rock sitting on their lab table was made from.

After one quick glance at the decrepit condition he found their lab in, Mr. M. began removing the charred equipment. Rather forcefully too, which he just tossed out into the hall without care. Watching in astonishment, the lead research agents simply stood back against the wall of the lab watching it all unfold, not daring to question or stop him. One of the younger agents opened his mouth about to protest when a co-worker noticed and quickly gave him a side elbow jab to cut him off. All that he had brought in with him was a hefty metal briefcase, which had just been very loudly deposited onto the adjacent table. He opened the briefcase, revealing just two things, a stethoscope and several bags of what appeared to be candy corn? At that moment the young crew member quietly muttered to another, “this guy is nuts…”

Mr. Mintopoly had indeed heard the comment, but paid no attention to it, continuing on with his “investigation”. He was used to comments from the critics and naysayers, but he had a process, and he was the best around for a reason, after all. Taking out the stethoscope he very gently turned his attention to the elephant in the room, the glowing object laying on the nearby table. Taking a seat on a quite uncomfortable stool, he leaned in closely, and listened to the stone with his singular tool. Tapping lightly on various points, listening all the while, he made his way around the object entirely before taking off the stethoscope and laying it back down onto the hard metal surface with a stark clank of metal in the otherwise silent room.

He had an unnerving and rather sneaking suspicion growing in the pit of his stomach, he knew what this curious object was, but he did not want to make that conclusion just yet. Instead he paused to take out a bag of the candies in which filled his briefcase. Sitting there staring at the glowing, pulsating, egg shaped rock, Mr. M. downed candy corn kernel after kernel. The team quietly stood along the back wall, just watching the insane master at work. When he got thru the last piece in the bag, he shot up off the stool with a deft motion, closed the briefcase and declared: “You need to prepare for an invasion.” Just as quick as he strode in, he disappeared thru the door without further clarification or assistance.

When the statement he had barked finally sank in to the panel of researchers, it took a few moments, the crew scrambled fearfully out the door in pursuit of Mr. M. They were determined to ask what he had meant by that declaration, although as they spewed out into the hall, he had long since vanished and was nowhere to be found. Everyone was frantically searching the building in their vain attempt to find him. While this was taking place, the stone left alone in the lab began to pulsate quicker. It was a slight change, but noticeable had someone been watching. It also seemed like it might be a tad brighter than before with each ramp up of the light becoming more of a flash…

That very same day the MLR presented to the Lunar Council what Mr. Mintopoly had told them, choosing to omit his questionable methods… They felt it was not quite a necessary tidbit and probably would be best kept as a “what happens in the lab, stays in the lab” type of moment. It took the remainder of the day, and what seemed like endless deliberation, but eventually the Council came back into the chamber, which was much like that of an Earthly courtroom. Although they did not like coming to this conclusion, they felt it best to lean toward the side of caution, especially with the lives of all the colony members in their hands, and begrudgingly determined it was best to listen to the “professional’s” advice.

Unsure of what it was they needed to be preparing for, the Lunar settlement was put under Alert level 1 and told to begin fortifying as many of the colony buildings as they could. Some took it upon themselves to create extra layers of shielding to bolster weak points of the structures, while others stockpiled supplies, it was all hands on deck! Meanwhile, the object still lay there in the dark, locked up in the lab, glowing, and pulsing with light. But something was off… The pulse emanating from it was stronger and more defined than before, with each peak glowing brighter and more rapidly still. To the point where it had become less than a second between each burst of energy.

In this Lunar Airdrop cycle, you are being asked to help in the preparations by ensuring as many resources as possible are stockpiled in the colony reserves! Each colony member is asked to perform 150 resource harvests from the start to the end of the event. Furthermore, the council has called on all colonists to contribute 5k Infrastructure toward structural reinforcements of the entire settlement. This will be begin shortly and a snapshot will be taken at the start and end of the timeframe in order to track the change in harvests. Head on over to the clubhouse to contribute to the cause!

~ If you’d like to be directly notified when we post new Insiders (and get them before everyone else!), make sure to follow us here on Medium and hit the subscribe option. ~

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Mintopoly Insider — Community Events

October 1, 2022

Welcome back to the Mintopoly Insider, a blog series that provides a closer look at the development of all aspects of the Mintoverse. In this installment, our focus is on the Community— detailing how you can get involved and earn additional prizes weekly. We also touch on our partnership with EtherFishing and hint at possible things to come!

A Quick Recap

These past two weeks seem like a blur! We’ve worked together to help the MLR crew, attempt to solve Kora’s riddle, wrapped up our Water Extractor Minting Challenge, and more…

Let’s take a look at some of these in further detail:

Kora’s Challenge:
Wow, that was a tough one… but very cool and fun nonetheless! In case you missed it, the answer to her riddle was the “Olympic Pool” NFT. Still can’t believe how close some of you got to the answer without quite making it 100% there. Since everyone conceded defeat we’ve sent Kora the challenge reward. Don’t worry, I heard she’s cooking up another one! (Actually, maybe you should be worried…)

Moon Changes:
As you all should know, we made quite a few balancing changes to the moon and we are pretty happy with where it has currently settled into. Un-boosted bases now have a shot at being harvested, the overall production rates of the moon have increased, and the exchange has been cleaned up nicely. At this time we will leave these in place as they are, but that’s not to say we won't be watching and may end up circling back in the future to make further adjustments.

Lunar Airdrop:
The MLR crew is so thankful for your contributions! We’ve raised over 400,000 culture resources and already have an airdrop up to 800,000 $MM tokens, and it is not over yet! The purpose behind it is two-fold, firstly to add an interactive and user-level control of the airdrops. Then secondly to aid in reducing the excess of this particular resource in circulation and on the market. This has been achieved nicely and brought up the scarcity of the resource. There are a few more types with excessive supply and we can use this feature to help balance those as well. However, we have much bigger plans for this resource contribution feature in the semi-near future. ;)

Water Extractor Minting Challenge:
For this past month we wanted to put focus on minting additional water extractors and since September has come to a close, so has this challenge. Stay tuned for another challenge coming soon in the Events channel on our Discord! The winner of this was drawn at random from all of the minted bases, each base counted as a submission with a few of you minting multiple, increasing your chances at winning! The winner of September’s challenge is: DUDE! (Ah man… I almost had it too!)

Balancing Changes

Over the past few weeks we have been keeping an eye on the changes we made to the moon bases. Now that these have been addressed, along with previously changing the Dark Web costs, we don’t currently have anything immediately obvious that needs a balancing update. The team will continue to watch how everything is playing out and we’ll certainly make note of anything that looks like it could use some attention. Perhaps the number of minted simulator cards, those numbers minted are all over the place. Perhaps additional Dark Web / Moon adjustments too.

That said, we’d love to hear from you on what you think could use a balancing update, including possible suggestions on how to go about it and why you think it is needed!

New Dark Web Feature

Last month we ran a poll asking our community to vote on their favorite new “dark web” feature ideas and we committed to creating the top results.

The most voted was “Insider Trading” which will allow players to temporarily earn the same income as the top players. This one is a bit more complex, and while we work out the details of its implementation, we turned our attention to the second most voted feature “Emergency Unlock”.

The new Emergency Unlock feature allows you unlimited access to your staking pool funds to deposit and withdraw to your heart’s content — for a short period of time. This will be an awesome new strategic addition, as you can now decide to purchase a crucial “extra” stake in the middle of the timeout, or withdraw early to make that next purchase. Specifically, here’s how it works…

Override
Negates the existing fork timer — allowing you to stake/unstake as often as you’d like while the boost is active.

Fork Limitation
None! Unlimited uses!

Duration
50 blocks!

Cost
Only 3 Keys!

This is launching… RIGHT NOW! So head over to the dark web storefront and purchase your unlimited staking!

EtherFishing Collaboration

Another thing we’ve been working on has been our EtherFishing Collaboration card. This is a special edition card that we made to celebrate the anniversary of our friends at EtherFishing. It provides a boost to all investments similar to the Mintopolist card, but at a much lower weight. We do not have plans for any Moon utility for this card at this time. Go check them out on OpenSea and grab one before they run out! I hear EF may be planning some form of utility for this card on their end? (Unconfirmed..)

Current Development

Halloween Events:
Beginning October 15 and running through the end of the month to Halloween, we will have various giveaways, events, game nights, and more! ALL the details will be released in the next Insider, but I suggest you get your brains warmed up for some intense Ciphers, Scavenger Hunts and Riddles. They won’t be easy! :P

MM purchasable NFTs:
The first card planned for this is under-way and will be a big helper for producing a more automated approach to some of the mundane tasks that you face in the Mintoverse. ;)

Simulator Roadmap (and Mintoverse):
While this is an important next step, we have not been focusing as much time on creating an update to this just yet. A bunch of the time spent has been on other tasks and this has inadvertently been bumped down on the priority list. We have not forgotten about it and we have had multiple discussions on it, but we’re not quite ready to put it into writing and share it just yet. Just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge it is in the works and we will get around to it in the near-ish future!

Weekly Emails:
As I am sure you are all aware, we’ve been pushing the Mintopoly Calendar for some time. This has been intentional because we are phasing out the weekly emails. We have created this calendar as our “Official” location for any dates that need to be made known. The weekly emails are instead being shifted into bi-weekly Insider emails. This is going to be taking effect immediately and you will not receive an email next week for the round start time!

Community Engagement

This Insider, we don’t have a spotlight for you. Instead, we have an idea to share about something we’d like to try out:

Starting next week we want to invite everyone to come join us in our discord server for community games. The winners will receive various prizes each week! Anything from Jackbox party games, Card Games, TV Gameshows, or something else, we’re open to suggestions!
https://medium.com/media/e750b2b1c12703ec3d508efdef1cd302/href
This is open to all and we will give it a go, see how well it does, and perhaps try a few different times/days. If it doesn’t work out, oh well. We’re all busy bees and it can be hard to get everyone together. That said, we think it would be a fun time to come together as a community, enjoy the time spent playing some extra games for an hour or so, and win some prizes along the way.

If you have a challenge, riddle, or other type of event you would like to share with the community, feel free to get in touch and we may end up putting it into a future Insider!

Final Contributions

We only have a week left in our Lunar Airdrop, make sure to get your final contributions in before the time is up! We will have a short break afterward and release the details of the next Lunar Airdrop a little after it concludes.

Head on over to the Moon to assist the MLR crew with their funding! To further sweeten the pot so to speak, we’ll be giving away one of these Lunar Edition NFTs to 1 random contributor.

~ If you’d like to be directly notified when we post new Insiders (and get them before everyone else!), make sure to follow us here on Medium and hit the subscribe option. ~

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

Mintopoly Insider — Lunar Chronicles

September 15, 2022

Welcome back to the Mintopoly Insider, a blog series that provides a closer look at the development of all aspects of the Mintoverse. This time we’re focusing on the moon — with the balancing of the moon bases and the release of the Limited Edition Lunar series NFTs.

What’s Been Happening

Although it has only been two short weeks since the last Insider, we’ve accomplished a bunch and it feels like forever since the first installment of this series!

Here are the highlights since then that we’d like to note:

Harvest Moon Challenge:
August’s Lunar Airdrop challenge came to a close a few days ago. Over the course of this past month, we harvested like maniacs in order to meet our goal! It was quite an amazing thing to witness actually! Would you like to take a wild guess at how many harvests we pulled off as a group? Together, in just one month, we managed to harvest over 25,000 times! THAT’S ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! 😱

Moon Card Staking Bug:
There was a pretty big and annoying bug where if you bought or sold a base with a card applied to it still - it would cause issues with staking that card or a card to that base. After a few attempts, we’re happy to say that this has since been resolved! 😎

Riddle Event:
We like to keep things interesting and throw random events and riddles, or whatnot at you, and it happens that we just wrapped up an event not too long ago, which was a riddle. In case you missed it, the answer was: “The Mintopoly Roadmap” Lol, and you guys thought it was Kora’s Spreadsheet! HA! 😆 More on this later…

Special Edition Lunar Series:
The biggest thing we’ve been working on over the past few weeks has definitely been the Special Edition Lunar card series! We’re so excited to announce that this new Limited Edition series of cards are now complete and you can find them loaded onto the Mintopoly Vending Machine! Since they are on the Vending Machine, you have a random chance of receiving one of these just as you would one of the other cards loaded into the Dapp. However, we know that a few of you would like to have a 100% chance at picking some of these up, and therefore we left a handful of them on OpenSea for you to grab! Make sure to go grab them quickly (Mintopoly on OpenSea) before they sell out! You will find that these special cards provide you with a MASSIVE 400% resource production boost when staked onto a moon base! Since they are Lunar cards, they do have a lesser impact on the simulator at about half of what the standard card series currently provides. 🌒

Balancing Changes

As we mentioned previously, this month’s balancing changes are focused on the moon bases. These are the areas we optimized:

Resource Storage:
The resource storage on the moon bases are too high. We wanted this to be an interactive addition that requires you to stay on top of making sure they are kept filled. Right now you can stock it up and not touch it for several days, which was not how we intended for this feature to operate. On top of that, this was one of the planned upgrade areas, which in its current implementation gives us no room to provide any upgrade options. We’ve reduced the base storage down to 40% of where it was previously. In other words, after 4 harvests you will need to fill it back up, instead of after 10.

Unstaked Disadvantage:
We’ve heard your feedback and recognize that bases without a card staked receive too little attention if any. To resolve that conundrum we are reducing the harvest timer down to once per hour, instead of every two hours. This means that since bases will be harvested more frequently, the availability of boosted bases will be reduced and in turn, you will need to harvest the unboosted options more frequently.

Founders Moon Boost:
Previously, the Mintopoly Founders cards had the same boost as every other card, that’s simply unacceptable! These are the top dogs of all the cards, being one of a kind and no others like it. We really wanted to emphasize the power and further increase the value of these cards! To do so we’ve given them a HUGE bump up to 600% boost toward resource production. We know that is a crazy large number, but there are few of them to begin with and there are soo few in circulation, we do not feel they will be a problem. That said, we will keep an eye on this and may decide to drop that a little bit, should it prove to be necessary.

Over the next two weeks, as we finish out the rest of September, we will closely watch how these changes influence the flow of the moon, the way everything plays, and the resource movement in turn. After seeing these in action it may end up being the case where we need to make additional adjustments or change things up entirely, depending on the outcome of this initial round of modifications. We’ll address any of those findings, if needed, in the next Insider!

In The Works

We know that you are excited and eager for the Insider Trading dark web feature to be implemented, and so are we! This is one of the main things that we are currently digging into, but there is still more work to be done. Here’s what the feature should look like (keep in mind that these details are subject to change):

Reminder: The Insider Trading feature copies the earnings of the Top Player to use as your own.

Fork Limitation
To prevent foreseeable issues, we will need to ensure that the income received is that of someone on the same fork count as yourself.

Duration
We anticipate this boost will last between 150–250 blocks as a quick sprint to help catch up.

Override
No matter what your income per block becomes during this time, you will be locked into receiving the same earnings as the top player receives (within your fork count).

Investments Only
The boost will be investment based, therefore it will not include the income the top player receives from staking. It will only duplicate their earnings per block.

Cost
We expect this to only cost a few keys 1–3 and be used at max, once per fork.

Planning Ahead

What’s next you say? Looking forward into the month of October, some of the things you can expect to see will include:

A large Halloween event — which might just be the biggest event we’ve held yet? News about the MM purchasable NFTs — we have the first card planned and will be sharing it with you soon-ish… As well as a refinement of the Simulator Roadmap, since the original is pretty much wrapped up, we’d like to take a minute to address the future of where we see this project heading.

Furthermore, we’ll begin working on the next dark-web feature. Emergency Staking Unlock perhaps? Something else maybe… I guess you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!

As a reminder, we are beginning to use the Calendar for more and more things and as we do, we will be looking to phase out and reduce the weekly emails. We’d like this to become the official place for the round start times! We’ve added the next couple already, so make sure to go check and mark your own calendars! Or alternatively, you can integrate the Mintopoly Calendar with your Google account in order to stay fully up to date on all the events and round start times! Just click on the + at the bottom right of the embedded Google Calendar.

Community Spotlight

Today we’d like to highlight one of our most capable and brilliant members. She’s notorious for her mathematical abilities and extensive spreadsheet wizardry. Kora is the genius behind many of our weekly rounds’ investment numbers and continues to assist the team in various other aspects behind the scenes. She’s truly a huge blessing to have as part of our community!

On that note, she has put together a special community challenge for you! The first person to solve her riddle successfully will win a Mintopoly Banker NFT. Place your answers in the #event-submissions channel on our Discord server! Good luck — you’re gonna need it! 😆 No hints and there will be just one winner!

I am the sweet taste of breakfast without any branch of healthiness,
yet I am 500% better than green energy, even without needing any magic!
What am I?

If you have a challenge, riddle, or other type of event you would like to share with the community, feel free to get in touch and we may end up putting it into a future Insider!

Wrapping Up

To conclude, we have one more thing that we’ve changed which we need to inform you about. We are shaking up the way the monthly lunar airdrops take place. Launching today, we’re putting the airdrop into your hands! It is up to you how much of an airdrop you receive. We have a story we’d like to share, which requires your assistance, the more you contribute and aid the continuation of the story — the larger the airdrop. Help us reach the goal for the story to continue — fail to hit that number and we’ll have to write the story to reflect on that failure accordingly in the future month’s narrative.

It was a dark and dreary day on the moon, in terms of Earth standards anyway, but this was normal. Considering there’s no atmosphere after all and there is often little to no direct sunlight where the colony had set up their presence. The MLR crew, Mintopoly Lunar Research, certainly didn’t mind though, it was actually quite helpful for their line of work. Which was to set out on various moonwalk expeditions to find unique rocks, artifacts, and special resources. At the end of the day they bring back what they’ve found, run it through their gambit of tests which were required by the MLC, Mintopoly Lunar Council, to ensure the safety of the colony. Once their findings have been fully tested, they were deemed safe to have curated and showcased in the lunar colonies’ Smithsonian.

The dim lighting and general gray appearance of the moon’s surface cast dark shadows and overall made it easier for them to spot the colorful gems and glowing artifacts which they’ve been finding in the fringes of their established territory. No one really knew where they originated, but so far, the artifacts and stones they had come in contact with have been fairly inert. Other than the dull, colorful glow, and a very minor thread of electricity that they seemed to somehow generate. It was such a miniscule amount that although fascinating, the rocks ultimately were declared as harmless and furthermore useless to the advancements of the colony. Every time they performed tests and decided to crack one open, it immediately lost any hint of power, and the glow would wind up burning out, leaving behind a pile of ordinary moon rocks.

This particular expedition started off like every other, with the entirety of the MLR crew busy working to clear the next section of their search grid. The crew would fan out into assigned quadrants of about 10 square meters. This wasn’t protocol, it was just what the team had found made it easier and more efficient to cover larger areas. As they were sifting through the topmost layer of the moon soil in an attempt to separate out the larger rocks from the silt like powder that made up the moon soil, or dust they called it. Mixed in with these rocks would be where they found the special rocks they were searching for. It was quiet, dark, and lonely work, simply business as usual. One of the crew however was about to receive quite the shock.

As he was digging through the next batch of soil to throw the dust and rock mixture into his sifting machine; his shovel impacted with something extra dense, harder than the rocks he was used to hitting. Although he was a bit surprised at first, he just figured it was a bit larger of a rock. Thinking no further into the abnormality, he dug there again, this time a little bit to the side and with a tad more strength behind it. As the shovel pierced the ground again hitting the stone, an intense flash emanated from the break in the soil. At the same time the shovel in hand was flung 20 meters into the air, narrowly missing his face as it flew out of his hand. The force of the shovel launching into the air, and the immense blinding light resulted in an involuntary step backward, ending in him stumbling and tripping on his tool bag, landing flat on his back. He laid there in shock, dizzy and confused at what just happened.

Even though they were spread out, the flash of light was so bright that the rest of the crew were also startled by what happened. All of them stood in dumbfounded amazement for a second before springing into action to help their fallen team member. As quick as they could manage in their bulky and cumbersome moon suits, they ran over to their colleague and picked him back up onto his feet. It is impossible to get up once you fall over in one of these, and dangerous if you do, as you could easily rupture the suit lining and lose pressure or oxygen.

Just then the shovel came back hurtling toward them striking the ground with a thud, just a few feet from the crew. All talking over one another, in a frenzy of questions and exclamations, wondering what just happened. He certainly could not understand or pick out anything of what was just said, but nonetheless he simply raised his hand and pointed at the glow coming from the break in the ground. As they moved in closer to examine the source of the light which they found emanating from the hole, they saw something amazing.

It was unlike anything they’ve discovered to this point. A stone about the size of a football, shaped similarly too. This one was different from all the other discoveries they’ve found though, where the previous rocks have just had a random crackle of electric veins of color. This larger stone had very symmetrical and distinct lines wrapped around its circumference. The best way to describe it was that it looked almost like a maze, a pattern of some sort woven throughout the smooth, polished surface.

Brimming with excitement, the crew rushed back with haste, well, as fast as they could hobble in their suits that is. Carrying their newfound treasure they returned eagerly to the museum’s research lab they called their headquarters. The MLR crew, although filled with wonder, knew they had protocol to follow. As a well-oiled machine they bustled about the lab to run the mysterious, glistening stone through the entire gambit of tests. It was a surreal site to behold, a shiny stone emitting light which had electrodes and various types of test equipment all wired up to it.

Regardless of what they tried though; they were met with the same unpleasant results. Every tool they used ended up with spikes rocketing off the charts. After a short while the stone emitted another burst of light, generating a pulse so strong it fried all of their equipment in one go. Fearing the outbreak of a fire, the crew rushed around yanking cords, spraying the stone and all the sizzling equipment with fire suppression devices. The worst thing they could have on the moon is fire! The only way they can breathe freely inside the colony buildings is to pump in a potent mixture of oxygen, nitrogen, and other gases to simulate what would be normal on Earth. The high levels that they required also had the unpleasant side effect of being highly explosive.

The research crew was left feeling defeated, spirits at a crushed low. Not only did all of their equipment end up melting, but they also nearly caused a level 5 emergency. Furthermore, they were no closer to determining the origin nor gleaning any further information about the stone they discovered. Reluctantly, the crew came to the unanimous decision that they needed help. They needed to call in the big guns, the best curator on the moon, to assist them with this research. Unfortunately for them, he was somewhat of a celebrity figure and charged an astronomical rate for providing his services.

Knowing that they would not be able to afford his payrate, due to budget cuts which always seemed to hit them hardest, the MLR crew has turned to the colony for support and put out a call to every member. Asking for help with additional funding, in hopes that they can call in the aid of the lead research specialist. Hopefully even he has what it takes to determine what this powerful object is made of and where it came from!

Head on over to the Moon to assist the MLR crew with their funding! To further sweeten the pot so to speak, we’ll be giving away one of these Lunar Edition NFTs to 1 random contributor.

~ If you’d like to be directly notified when we post new Insiders (and get them before everyone else!), make sure to follow us here on Medium and hit the subscribe option. ~

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer

Calendar

Guidebook

Vending Machine

Discord

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

September 1, 2022

Welcome to our first Mintopoly Insider, a new blog series that provides a closer look at the development of Mintopoly. This month, we’re starting off by sharing insights into our current goals, development process, and what Insiders should expect as we move forward. We’ll also take a closer look at the recent thoughts you’ve shared within your Q&A responses just a couple of weeks ago. This first one will be a bit longer to kick things off, so get cozy! Don’t worry, the future posts will aim to be short and sweet.

Looking Back

A bunch has happened over the past few months, some visible, while other aspects remain hidden or simply don’t make it to the public eye. Some of the larger mentions include:

First 50 Rounds Completed!
- This is awesome! Although all 50 Mintopolist cards have been won, we have many new additions in the works that you won’t want to miss out on!

Moon Launched!
- This public release went so much smoother than we could have hoped for! Over 500 players have joined as we moved from private “rocket lists” to public access and everything is running smoothly! Just a few things left to work out here and there.

10% of the Moon Minted!
- You guys rock! It was a blast to see all the bases coming in during our initial challenges. At this point, we’re shifting into a more steady and long-term stance on the project and we look forward to seeing it develop over the coming months!

While these are the largest note-worthy mentions, there have been a number of smaller changes that deserve a bit of attention too! In no particular order, here are some of the things that we want to highlight and would like to share with you!

Discord Bots:
- One of our amazing team members, CryptoFrog, has worked hard at bringing in unique features to our discord server in the way of bots. Some of them include Net Worth projections, MM pricing, Moon Base Mints, and much more. He has custom-built all of them and worked hard to ensure they run as smoothly as possible. Go show him some appreciation, and if you haven’t already, be sure to go check out our fancy bots on the Mintopoly Discord!

Website:
- We have recently migrated some of the content and guides found on the website into a more streamlined Mintopoly Guidebook at guide.mintopoly.io. Our goal is to make this the one-stop location for all guides and descriptions pertaining to various aspects of the game. On top of that, we just integrated a Google Calendar so you can see Round start times, Events, and Challenge deadlines. You can find this on our website menu or by heading to: mintopoly.io/calendar!

Community Events:
- Hopefully you have had the opportunity to participate in at least one of the many events / challenges / giveaways we’ve hosted over the last few months! We’ve just gotten started and look forward to many more to come. My personal favorite so far was the Cipher Challenge — we sure hope that Mr. Mintopoly finally got those replacement potatoes…

Miscellaneous Moon Tweaks:
- Numerous quality of life updates on the moon, including Base Ownership Refreshing, Moon Referral Integration, Moon Base Zoning Issues, Exchange Ratio on Listings, Base Numbers on Account Page, Base # Search Bar, Harvest Page, and many more!

Balancing Changes

One of the things we’re going to implement more frequently are regular balancing updates. We’ll take a look at a feature or two and see how it performs in the overall scope of the Mintoverse. If it is not operating in the best manner, or if it is not as balanced as we’d like it to be, we’ll address it!

This past month we looked at the Encryption Keys used on the Dark Web. They definitely needed some work and we recognized the fact that it was not up to par! Here’s what we did to resolve it:

Reduced the Key’s cost to correlate with the new Airdrop rate [it was already too costly to begin with, so we further reduced it.]

Balanced the Dark Web boosts, their key costs, and durations.

This next month we’re going to look at the Moon Bases, specifically their resource storage and production rates. The goal is to ensure a long-term stable ecosystem and we want to make sure they are properly balanced here at the start rather than further down the road. Feel free to reach out with your thoughts on these!

In The Works

We have a long to-do list of various little quality improvement updates to tackle. Some of the things we’re looking into currently include further UI design updates, Website (and both games’) Menus & Links, Event Popups, and Exchange Cleanup, among others.

While the Mintopoly Moon is fun and still under further development, we don’t want to lose sight of where we started, the Simulator. Our next larger update will be to expand upon the current Dark Web system and lay the foundation for many more boosts and features to come. As we’ve just wrapped up the favorite feature poll, we’re proud to announce that the next addition to the Dark Web will be:

Insider Trading — Earn the same income per block as the top player!

Ha! How fitting! — This certainly seems doable, so we’ll give it a shot!
(Please note that as we begin working on these features, we may find that they are not able to be implemented successfully. If that becomes the case, we’ll table it and come back to it in the future if possible.)
Make sure to check back in with the next Mintopoly Insider to get more details on this feature as well as about when you can expect it to be released!

Planning Ahead

All of that is great, but you may find yourself asking: “What can we come to expect for the future?” We know you’re eager for further additions to the gameplay by means of new features. We will continue to discuss some of what we have planned here in the coming weeks/months. That said, we’ll highlight a few of them for you right now!

While we don’t want to get into too many details just yet, it is safe to say that we’re actively discussing, researching, and in the beginning stages of the next item on the roadmap. MM Purchasable NFTs

What we know so far is that these cards will be created on the Polygon network so that you can utilize your MM tokens for purchasing these directly with $MM! Furthermore, they will be completely different from the current style of cards we offer. Instead of earnings boosts, think more along the lines of helpful functions and assistance with various aspects of the game. Perhaps unique ways to integrate the Moon and Simulator even further.

Speaking of cards… Limited Edition Lunar Series Anyone? ;)

Community Spotlight

One of the most important parts of Mintopoly, nay, THE most important part of Mintopoly is YOU! The community and all the players who participate weekly to make this project succeed. Because of this, we’d like to give you a dedicated section to the Insider. We’ll showcase many things in this section including Q&A responses, various bits of feedback, up-and-coming player spotlights, and even community-created resources.

On that note, thank you for the Questions in our recent poll! The team has reviewed and discussed it extensively and here are the results:

Q: “Can you stabilize the MM token?”
- A: Right now we think it’s far more important to allow the players to dictate the flow of $MM and therefore create the supply/demand that influences the token price. It is largely up and down in cost because of the players who are buying and those who are selling respectively. This is causing swings, as large amounts are bought and sold. We do have $MM set aside for additional liquidity on the roadmap and will begin taking a look at implementing a plan where we can slowly start increasing the amount within the current liquidity pools, therefore reducing the swings in price.

Q: “What is the purpose of the MM token? Do you have any plans to promote it on a bigger level with big partnerships? When will MM be listed on a centralized exchange?”
- A: The purpose of the Mintopoly Money Token ($MM) is as an interactable currency that is used within the Mintopoly universe. This token is used as the currency to back the purchases made for various items, utilities, and provided in-game interactions.
- There have been discussions with partner projects that would involve the use of $MM tokens, but we don’t have any announcements at this time.
- We do not have any plans to list the $MM token on a centralized exchange. We really do not feel it is worth the time, resources, or expense involved with doing so. It would be better suited to create more utility for the token and provide further liquidity within various DEX(s).

Q: “Are you planning on having a set of cards on the Polygon chain for OpenSea? They would sell more, because of the lower gas fees.”
- A: Yes, we are indeed planning to create a polygon chain card for the simulator! These will become the MM purchasable cards. As far as the primary cards for the simulator go, the contract is not set up to support the minting of cards on the Polygon network.

Q: “Are you not worried about the Moon exchange prices going lower and lower?”
- A: No. For two primary reasons, the first and foremost being that this is designed to be an open market. We don’t want to put too many restrictions on it, limiting what people can and cannot do with their resources/$MM. Secondly, the resources will become more and more scarce as time goes on, creating a supply shortage and therefore raising prices as demand grows. Prices were lower at the start primarily because we just completed the 12 waves of “seed” resources that were released to the market in order to kickstart the economy. Those are now finished and at this point the exchange market should stabilize with far fewer resources being listed.

Q: “See on the Exchange that some products are absurdly cheaper than others what do you plan so that there is no disinterest in a certain product and likewise a drop in the economy of the residents on the Moon?”
- A: There are a few favorite base types right now, therefore causing an over-abundance of particular resources. It will balance out with time. But we do plan to create base upgrades and other features which will require the use of the resources. We can certainly look at and use the ones that are most abundant to help with balancing, should it become necessary.

Q: “Are there any plans for implementing a trading feature for the moon? Where you can trade resources for others or will it remain purchasing with MM only?”
- A: This was a heavily debated topic within the beta testing of the Moon and the conclusion from tests and discussion was that it would devalue the $MM token. We want to create more utility and reason to purchase, use, and win $MM. With resource-to-resource trading, it would make it pointless to use the token on the exchange once it reaches a certain level, defeating the purpose. So at this time, it will remain an $MM only purchase.

Q: “Are there any plans for collaborations with other blockchain projects?”
- A: YES! We’ve already begun partnering with EtherFishing and we’re definitely planning to reach out to more in the future. One of the issues though is that both projects are heavily focused on their own development and that makes it difficult to find time to focus on each other’s projects instead. Especially at the same time… We’re in contact and talking about many different possibilities and we’ve got some in mind already that we’re excited to share with you in the near future - Stay Tuned!

Q: “What does Mintopoly of the future look like? There are some new features that have been good for Minto, but what’s next? What’s being done to make this more exciting? The weekly announcements aren’t giving us any clue on the future of Mintopoly and what it would be like. Moon seems nice, but what is the roadmap for enhancements?”
- A: The future of Mintopoly and the Mintopoly Moon are highlighted in their respective roadmaps. Since we’re getting close to completing most of the original thoughts behind the simulator, we have it on the agenda to sit down and write out a new roadmap. This would detail the ideas we have circulating and all the things written down on our future items to-do list. As well as provide a more clear understanding of how we see the two games interacting in the long term. Along with possible additional games in the further future… We’ll share more on this in the coming Insiders!

Q: “What is the plan for marketing?”
- A: Right now we are focusing our resources primarily on game development and creating more refined and feature-filled games that our players will continue to love. We believe that the best projects grow by spreading naturally, via word of mouth. To that end, we have referral programs on both the simulator and (as of this week!) the moon. Head to the bottom of your moon profile for a referral link — when your friends join and purchase a visa, you’ll get some silver as a bonus.

Wrapping Up

Wow… That was a lot! This was the condensed version too… It just goes to show how much we have done, are doing, and have planned for the future. A lot of what is happening takes place behind closed doors, so to speak. So it has been made apparent how needed this Insider has become. We want to make it a priority to be more transparent, informative, and engaged. We really hope this helps bridge some of the gaps we’ve seen in communication and details surrounding the project.

It feels like the Mintoverse just started yesterday, but at the same time, it also feels like it’s been around forever… There are so many things we’d like to talk about, but those will just have to wait for the following Mintopoly Insiders! We have an excited outlook on the future of the Mintopoly Universe and we’re so glad to have you joining us along the way!

~ If you’d like to be directly notified when we post new Insiders (and get them before everyone else!), make sure to follow us here on Medium and hit the subscribe option. ~

- The Mintopoly Team

Helpful Resources:

Block Explorer (Official Leaderboard of awesomeness)

Calendar (Check future round start times and more)

Guidebook (Extra details on various gameplay features)

Vending Machine (Best way to support the game, and get a boosty thing)

Discord (Join and interact with the community of cool kids)

Twitter

Unofficial Wiki

Simulator Support Ticket

Moon Support Ticket

Partner Project: EtherFishing

A lot has happened since we talked late last year. Check out the video below where I (label.) discuss all that we’ve been working on, what you can expect in the near future, as well as some sneak previews on the future direction of the Mintoverse ;)
https://medium.com/media/6b9e9839a3a37b02c7dded415eba3829/href
Here’s a recap of everything discussed in the video above:

What We’ve Accomplished

The Mintopoly News Network — this is a gameplay feature where dynamic events happen within the world to affect staking, cash, costs, and earnings in real time. It took our primary focus for several months to re-tool the codebase to handle these events. This adds another layer of dynamism and unpredictability to the game.

Design Refresh — we’ve revamped the design of our website with better graphics at mintopoly.io along with better language and communication to help new players get onboard faster.

Explorer — Continuing our vision to make all the data public, we’ve released explorer.mintopoly.io to provide vast amounts of data and we’ll be continuing to develop this over the coming months.

NFT Card “Vending Machine” — We’re doing final testing and will release this innovative self-service Dapp where players can purchase single Mintopoly NFT cards of any category or packs or random categories directly from us. This will save 4–5x the gas fees of OpenSea and pack purchases will include a 1% chance per card of receiving a rare Founder’s Edition card!

What’s Coming Next

A Player Reward System — leveraging our current promo card system we’re introducing new incentives that will award promo cards to players who complete challenges (such as finishing in the top 50% of a round 4 times), so that all users can progress and build a more powerful account.

More Explorer Data — We’re adding new API calls so that the explorer will be able to return all player actions during a round, as well as MNN events and all users affected.

Better Game-Management Tools — We’re working on some small back-end improvements to help the game run more smoothly, get airdrops out more quickly, and more.

In-Game uses of MM — Once the above is completed over the coming weeks, we’ll turn our focus towards a “ticket” system, where players will be able to purchase tickets with their MM and use these tickets on in-game boosts such as renting promo cards, auto-staking, and more.

The Future of the Mintoverse

While we’re absolutely committed to building out the core simulator game, I personally see this as just the starting point — a tool to help distribute the community’s tokens back into the hands of the players who care about this project.

Ultimately, my intentions are to build out more and more layers of value and utility for both these tokens and the NFT Mintopoly Cards, and I have begun working towards that next layer — a resource-based world with NFT-backed plots of land, resources that can be generated by applying Mintopoly Cards onto land, and open exchanges where resources and land can be traded with the MM token. It’s a very exciting future to build upon the current game and I hope to share much more about this over the coming months.

Thank you for playing and supporting this game! 🙏🏼

– label.
mintopoly.io
