I often find myself retracing that moment at the station’s edge — how you spoke to me, confessing your delight in my smile. Loving you again felt like a familiar melody returning after a year of silence. Yet, did you know? It is only with you that my smile flourishes in such full. As I watch the curve of your lips while you gaze at me, they seem to whisper of a happiness so profound, a vow to keep us both safe forever. My darling, has the thought of leaving me ever crossed your mind? I long to ask, but whenever I see the effulgence in your eyes as you gently brush a stray trace from the corner of my lips, I feel that such a parting is impossible. Is it true, my love? In the third stanza of your poem, I read once more your wish; for me to live beside you in this endless field of flowers. Always, and for all eternity.

My dearest moon, may you forever shine through the dark quiet darkness of the night..so please, do not let the night devour you. For the soul it is still becoming, and perhaps…for the star that still waits beneath it.
