I recently completed the “Build Real World AI Applications with Gemini and Imagen” course offered by Google, and I have to say — it was a powerful and practical learning experience. In just over an hour, I got hands-on exposure to some of the most advanced generative AI models available today: Gemini and Imagen, all while using the Vertex AI platform.

This course wasn’t just about theory — it was packed with real-world labs that showed me how to combine text, image, and chat AI capabilities into actual working applications.

Lab Highlights:

Building an AI Image Recognition App with Gemini

This lab introduced me to using Gemini to analyze images and generate meaningful text responses. It was fascinating to see how AI could describe what’s happening in a picture so accurately.

Creating an Image Generator App with Imagen

Using just a simple prompt, I was able to generate photo-realistic images with Imagen. I built a Python app that sends a prompt like “a bouquet of sunflowers and roses” and receives a beautiful image in return.

Developing a Chat Prompt App with Gemini

Here, I built a text-based chat application using the Gemini model. I tested both non-streaming and streaming responses, which was really useful for understanding how to create dynamic AI-powered conversations.

The Challenge Lab: A Multi-Modal AI App

This lab tied everything together and gave me a real sense of what’s possible with multi-modal AI.

As a ServiceNow Developer, I’m always excited to explore new technologies and stay ahead of the curve. Recently, I’ve noticed the growing influence of Generative AI in my field, and that sparked my curiosity to learn more.

While exploring, I came across Google’s newly launched Gen AI Exchange Program, an initiative designed to equip professionals with hands-on experience in generative AI. I didn’t waste a moment and quickly registered for it. Today, I’m happy to share that I’ve completed my first milestone in this journey by earning the Prompt Design in Vertex AI skill badge.

This introductory-level course lays a solid foundation in:

• Prompt engineering
• Image analysis
• Multimodal generative AI techniques

It uses tools like Vertex AI and Gemini models to teach how to craft effective prompts, guide generative AI output, and apply these capabilities to real-world scenarios — especially in marketing.

What I found particularly valuable was the hands-on challenge lab at the end, which tested everything I learned in a practical, interactive environment. Best of all, the course is completely free, and completing it earned me an official Google Cloud Skill Badge, validating my growing expertise in generative AI.

It has been a while since I didn't write a blog again, I have been consuming lots of blogs but ya I didn't write blogs for a long time, today I got a popup that 1 person followed you in a medium which is an increase of one more follower. so this is a reminder to myself to start again with what god has given a reminder which I think. When i am studying in engineering college the Final sem I was selected for TCS(first job) in an interview and that time I am good at Java because of my programming skills even i am studying electronics and communication engineering i am able to crack service based company and at that time selected for TCS is a big thing for me I never thought that I will join TCS it was a big proud moment for me however back to the story I got the TCS learning portal access, have i got an offer letter from TCS and i accepted that so one day i got a mail from TCS team there is a ServiceNow online one-month introduction training if you want to participate please register for this. At that time i am not sure what is ServiceNow and i am not heard also before by the way i am not that dumb(I had general knowledge about software companies and famous software, All thanks to the internet)i know about software companies like SAP they have SAP software, amazon AWS, etc but never heard serviceNow i registered let's see what is the thing that is the one point a big change in my life you can say turning point it was one year back from now, but now at this point i more clear that i will make my carrier in ServiceNow Developer itself. I am very curious about ServiceNow it is like an ocean as you will learn you will explore more things, new things,new perspectives and it will never end I am not an experienced person in the ServiceNow field but I can see myself passionate about ServiceNow platform so lets me jump now for the main topic

I understood that for every work planning is essential so I am making a plan of how to learn for 100 days of code when researching I also came across the famous challenge on twitter that is #100daysofcode for java there is no any 100 days of resources, particularly how to learn so I will make my own way of learning during this journey we can understand about lots of things.
