There are many ways for players to get rewards in an NFT game, one of the easiest way is Staking. So in this #7 wiki article will show you all about Staking in AETHR.

1. WHAT IS STAKING?

Staking can simply be described as similar to depositing money in a bank: The investor locks up the assets and earns interest over time. Usually the longer (and bigger) the deposit, the higher the interest rate. Staking in web3 operates in the similar principle.

In AETHR, you can stake ATH to earn BUSD and NFT boxes.

2. HOW TO STAKE

Step 1: First, create and log in to your account at AETHR marketplace.

Step 2: Go to “Staking Pools” on the top menu, you can see there are staking options for BUSD and NFT-BOX rewards.

Step 3: Choose the Stake Package you want, and click “Stake Now”.

Step 4: Enter the amount of ATH/slots you want to stake, the system will calculate the estimated reward for you, then click “Confirm” to proceed.

Note: You can scroll down to “My Staking” to see if your tokens have successfully staked, and check your current stake

3. STAKE $ATH TO RECEIVE $BUSD

Example, with Pool 1, you can stake maximum to 2,000,000 ATH. The number of your staking tokens will be locked for 3 months (meaning you can’t withdraw it in this given time) . A year’s profit for each token will be 0,006 BUSD. A total of 15% of 2,000,000 multiplied by 0.04 (the token price) will be Pool 1’s profit.

If the pool runs out, you will not be able to click “Stake Now”, which means that Pool can not be staked anymore.

You can withdraw profit every 30 days from the first day of staking. Subsequent withdrawals must also be 30 days after the last withdrawal, maybe longer but must not be shorter than 30 days. You can receive up to 12,000 BUSD after 3 months of staking in each package.

4. STAKE $ATH TO RECEIVE NFT BOXES

In addition to the BUSD reward, you can also stake to receive NFT boxes. It also has limited turns to stake.

At Pool 1, your tokens will be locked for 30 days, after successfully Staking, you will immediately receive 1 NFT box. From then on, every 10 days you will get 1 NFT Box within 30 days in which 500 of your tokens are locked, you can earn a total of 4 NFT boxes for this Pool.

Pool 2 and 3 operate in the same principle.

5. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR REWARDS

For BUSD rewards package:

- You can claim the reward after 30 days from the start of Staking.
- The next claim will be after 30 days from the previous claim date
- Go to your Account to check

For NFT Box rewards package:

-The First rewards will be immediately distributed to your wallet after making a successful stake.
- The Subsequent rewards will be claimable over time as shown in Table 2

- Go to your Account to check

*You CAN NOT UNSTAKE if the term has not expired. After the staking period ends, $ATH will be returned to your wallet

1. Buy Heroes on the Marketplace

You can see plenty of strong heroes in the marketplace

AHETR’s Marketplace is where you can easily trade every hero with other players! You can find the right heroes for your team with just a few simple steps:

Step 1: Access AETHR official marketplace

Step 2: Go to “Marketplace” tab and connect with your account (via your Metamask wallet)

*Tip: If you are a newcomer, see more instructions on how to get started with AETHR

Step 3: Search and choose the hero that fits your needs

*Tip: you can use the Filter on the left to look for the hero with the right stats you are looking for

Step 4: Buy Heroes with $BUSD

2. Buy and open NFT Boxes

You can also summon heroes through the NFT Boxes.

Step 1: Access AETHR official marketplace

Step 2: Go to “Package” tab and connect with your account (via your Metamask wallet)

*Tip: If you are a newcomer, see more instructions on how to get started with AETHER

Step 3: Choose to buy an NFT Box Package that suits your budget. Please note that the Hero inside is totally randomised.

*Tip: Choose the package to buy 5 boxes or 10 boxes at one time to receive a respectively discount at 30% and 50%

3. Mint from PvE

After completing each PvE match, you have a chance to receive a NFT Box as a reward for your fighting effort. The rate you get this reward is directly proportional to the map’s difficulty. You can get a Hero after opening the NFT box.

How to make your Aether stronger? Let’s find out the secret to help you improve your battle power right below:

Awaken and Level-up will help increase the basic stats of a hero, thereby increasing the combat power of the whole team.

Awaken

Each Hero possesses great power. In the beginning, every Hero will start at Tier 1 (demonstrated as a Star) and the user can use the Awaken feature to unleash its full power. There are up to 7 tiers a hero can achieve.

An Awakened Hero comes with increased stats and a level cap that can be achieved.

You can only awaken on the web

To Awaken a hero, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Inventory page

2. Select Hero to Awaken

3. Add materials:

When upgrading a Hero, it will take other aethers as its own material and also consumes some mATH. The success rate of Hero’s evolution is proportional to the number of materials a player puts in. If the player puts in the maximum materials required, the success rate is 100%. The process still consumes mATH if it fails.

Each Hero will have different material points depending on the quality and Tier of that Hero.

4. Click Awaken to complete

Level-up

Level-up helps Aethers significantly increase their HP or ATK, thereby making them stronger when entering battles.

There is a maximum of 210 levels. However, there is a level limit (every 30 level) for each Tier. Users who reach the maximum level of the Tier need Hero Awakening to continue upgrading.

The upgrade process will require a certain amount of mATH to complete and the success rate is always 100%. You just need to prepare enough mATH.

To Level-up a hero, follow these steps:

1. In the game, Click on AETHERS tab at the bottom left corner of the screen

2. Select the Aether to upgrade. You can use filters by Class, Tier, or Level to search

3. Hit Upgrade to level up Aether, the amount of mATH needed to perform will be displayed at the bottom.

Gold and Usage

Gold is the in-game currency that will convert from ATH token with the ratio of 1:1 (01 ATH token as 01 Gold in-game).

Creating Gold makes it easy and convenient for users to experience the game. When performing in-game operations, instead of processing onchain, Gold saves you fees and time.

Description: Spews a large fireball at a parabolic angle in front of you, touching an enemy will explode, separating to fire shard and each projectile will cost damage to the enemies.

Damage: Because when explode it separated to many fire shard, each projectile cost the least damage in the Fire Group.

5. METEOROID

Description: Spews a large fireball that explodes dealing damage around enemies or flying to maximum range.

Damage: Heroes only shot 1 bullet, so it will cost the most damage. But the bullet speed is considered slow.

6. FIREFLY

Description: Spews a small spark, if it collides with an enemy, it will create a vortex of fire for 1s, dealing damage every 0.5s.

AETHR WIKI #4: Heroes’ Skills — Part 1

In order to maximize the chance to be the winner of every battle, you should learn about Heroes’ attack skills to strategically set up your team. Therefore, this #4 wiki article of AETHR about HEROES’ SKILLS will be “The Guide” for you.

THE BASICS, STATS, AND EFFECTS

There are a few basic (and super important) things you need to remember: Each hero will possess 1 of 15 skills (to this moment) randomly when minted, no matter what race your hero is. You can upgrade the skill to become stronger/more effective but you CAN NOT change your hero’s skill.

When looking at a skill, other than its simple in-game description, you should go on AETHR web to see the following stats to later upgrade and choose your heroes wisely. These stats will explain to you in detail how effective it is, considering its total damage and attack speed:

Damage: total damage inflicted by your hero in one turn
Bullet damage: the damage inflicted by each bullet (if your hero shoots multiple bullets). Not every hero shoots multiple ones
Attack speed: how fast/slow your hero attacks
Bullet speed: how fast/slow each bullet travels

You can see these basic stats of your hero’s attack on the AETHR website

Apart from those stats, your hero’s attack skill might also have all, either or none of these special effects:

Auto-aim: the bullet will automatically aim at your enemies. Once your hero saw the enemy, it will attack with a 100% hit rate. If your enemy was locked but died before the bullet reached it, the bullet will seek another enemy to kill.
Piercing: the bullet inflicts damage to all enemies that it passes through. The bullet can either go straight through the enemies or give an explosion that will inflict damage to more than just 1 enemy.

1. POISON NOVA

Description: The hero spews a series of poisonous spikes that radiate at a fan-shaped diagonal angle, gradually expanding angle as the bullets go further from the hero.

Damage: Each projectile cost the 2nd greatest damage in the Poison Group, only after Toxic Bomb.

2. TOXIC BOMB

Description: Throws toxic balls that explode at the landing points and deal AoE damage.
Auto-aim: No
Piercing: No
Damage: Heroes only shot 1 bullet, so projectile will cost the most damage compared to the other two skills.

3. POISON STING

Description: Fires continuous poison projectiles randomly forward at a 45-degree angle.
Auto-aim: No
Piercing: No
Damage: Each projectile cost the least damage in this group, but offset, it has the fastest bullet speed.

There are 6 Elements counteracting each other. Here are the elements in AETHR:

Wind
Fire

THE HERO

You must pay attention to these in-game information and navigations of your hero

Each hero will have only one element randomly assigned when minted. As elements will counter each other, it is important that you choose your hero wisely to have the advantage against your enemies. Here are a few things you should remember :

Hero’s element: you should view and remember the Element chart to best set up the team. You can see the Element chart below.
Passive Attribute: one hero can have 1 Passive Attribute that could buff the hero(es) having the same element it is having, or buff to all team heroes. You can learn more about the Passive Attribute HERE and HERE

The Element chart

As this chart shows, for example, when you put Water against Fire, your hero will gain 15% attach damage, and enemies’ attack damage will be decreased by 15%.

Aside from the ring of 4 Elements, Natural and Metal Elements are separated from the others and counterparts of each other. Both heroes’ damage will be increased by 15% and there is no reduction.

THE MAP

Apart from the Hero’s element, you should look at the map’s element as well. Each map has a different element, representing all the enemies’ element within the map. With this information, you must arrange the appropriate formation to counter the enemies and conquer the planets.
