We’ve released version 0.2.3 of dbHero, a PostgreSQL and MySQL database GUI for Windows and Mac.

The big addition in this version is support for MySQL:

We’ve also made UI tweaks, like ability to filter results:

They say that if you’re not embarrassed then you’ve waited too long to release your product.

Here we are: launching version 0.1.8 and a little bit embarrassed.

dbHero is a GUI database client for Mac OS X and Windows. Currently it only supports PostgreSQL.

Here’s how it looks like:

dbHero is an easy way to browse tables, run queries and a few extras like see query activity from all users.

Low version number hints that this is a work in progress. The tool is already functional and useful but we have big plans for the future.

Download dbHero and give it a try. We would love to hear your feedback.
